Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. I’m really excited with the upcoming Respawn Entertainment / EA release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It will tell an original story about Cal Kestis, a surviving Jedi Padawan, shortly after the events of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.
I am pumped after Respawn and EA released details of Apex Legends season 2, specifically the new character Watson, looks like a game changer!
The Team Sonic Racing game
I am most excited for Team Sonic Racing game. I first read about it on the Best Buy blog.
The developer is Sumo Digital, the publisher is Sega.
I am excited for Nintendo’s Luigi’s Mansion 3 and any other Mario titles. Super Mario was the first game I ever played and I love the franchise!
I am looking forward to the new Star Wars game that is being released.

I’m excited for Luigi’s Mansion 3 by Nintendo because they always come up with a unique and clever game.
So far this year, the most exciting news for me would be the release of the SEGA Genesis mini! I am very glad to hear this news from Sega, as I had one growing up. In fact I still have it, but only a few game cartridges still remain. My kids love my old Genesis, and I love sharing the retro experience with them. A new one with 40 games built in?!? Hopefully I won’t lose any!!
When Microsoft announced that Xbox was releasing Life is Strange 2: Episode 5 , I couldn’t help but be excited! I have always felt that the story wasn’t quite finished yet. But, I guess the best news really, is the news Microsoft has released regarding the new Xbox Two/Scarlet!! Can’t wait to find out all the details! I am just getting started as a Mixer streamer using my XboxOne, so I can only imagine how fast my numbers would climb if I were to start streaming with a new console!

I am most excited for Team Sonic Racing game! I first read about it on the Best Buy blog (https://blog.bestbuy.ca/video-games/team-sonic-racing-review). The developer is Sumo Digital, the publisher is Sega and the ESRB rating is E (Everyone). I played Sonic the Hedgehog a lot as a kid so I’m excited to share a Sonic game with my kids. We love racing games and a family-friendly game is super important. My kids have been asking to try kart racing games since they first saw Wreck it Ralph. This game would fit the bill perfectly.
PlayStation 5 sounds interesting…my daughter would love an update playing machine. Mario Bros. was a favourite way back when so it would be cool to see any changes to the newer version.
I’m really excited for Link’s awakening remake for Nintendo switch! I have lots of childhood memories playing this on my Gameboy.
I’m SUPER excited for EA’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game. I think we can all agree that reviews quite varied on the last Star Wars title, and although it wasn’t my favourite game I did spend a lot of hours having a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to this new adventure. With the film franchise peaking, having this new opportunity to explore more of the Star Wars universe is really exciting for me! The E3 announcement demo video gave us some great insight into what the gameplay will look like, and I’m excited to get a better idea of what time period exactly the game is set in. Not to mention the BD-1 droid is just so dang cute!
Luigi’s Mansion 3! Hands down one of the most fun gaming franchises. Long live the Kings of E3, NINTENDO!
I’m most excited for Death Stranding from Kojima Productions! I remember watching the trailer with my friends way back and I’ve been waiting for it since. Very hyped to see its coming this year.
I can’t wait for EA’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It’s been a while since we’ve had a good Star Wars game and this ones looks like a winner.
EA and Respawn entertainment’s announcement of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is my most anticipated game of 2019.
There are so many great ones coming out to choose from, but Jedi Fallen order takes my vote.
I’m excited about a new canon addition into the franchise that we haven’t seen before. It looks like it’s going to be an amazing action game with a lot of potential.
One of my favourite games in the Star Wars franchise has always been the force unleashed, and I think Jedi fallen order will follow suit and deliver an awesome Star Wars experience and story.

I am always keen to see anything in the God of War and Tomb Raider franchises, although the direction is a bit unclear. As a big fan as well of racing games I want to see consoles build up to a more immersive VR/AR experience.
I was really excited to finally see the gameplay for the much awaited Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game to be released by EA in November. My husband is a huge Star Wars fan and was disappointed with the previous Star Wars games, so this one sounds like it might be the one he’s been waiting for. November is just in time for his birthday too, so it is the perfect gift for me to get for him.
I will be getting him the PS4 version.
New generation of Switch console, Playstation 5, new generation of handheld Sony console, Final Fantasy 7 remake.
I’m excited for the release of Animal Crossing on Nintendo Switch. It will be the first Animal Crossing on console since the Nintendo Wii back in 2008 so I can’t wait to see all the new improvements and features it will have!
I’m extremely excited for the new PlayStation 5 by Sony as a new console means better performance and graphics when playing my favorite games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, Need for Speed, and many more!
One of that games that I am looking forward to is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by EA games. I am a big fan of the star wars franchise and am hoping that this game will be as good as it looks in the release trailer.

EA Play kicked off E3 by announcing “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order” from Respawn Entertainment , and a description I read got me super stoked to jump into the Star Wars gaming world :
“looking a bit like Uncharted with a lightsaber”, what could be better!!
Sitting on the edge of my seat (credit card in hand), waiting for the release of to the Last of US 2, by Naughty Dog and Sony Computer Entertainment for the PS4. The first release is my favorite game ever, and the second one will likely be even better!
Death Stranding definitely! I’ve watched all the trailers for the game and videos trying to explain it, yet I still have no clue what it is about and neither do the videos! I’m just so excited that it’s the next game by Hideo Kojima and I can’t wait to find out all about this game!

I’m excited for the release of Nintendo’s Pokemon Sword and Shield in November.The trailer for the game looks amazing with it’s stunning graphics. Always enjoyed anything Pokemon related especially because I grew up with it so I’m really looking forward to it.
I can’t wait to play Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order on Xbox One later this year. Also looking forward for Borderlands 3 and the new Ghost recon 😉

Looking forward to upcoming news or details for Final Fantasy VII remake by Square Enix. Had n64 and ps1 during youth. Though mario 64, orcarina, and many others were nostalgic to me FF7 was the game that had the most impact. Not expecting the remake to be the same as the original gameplay wise but hoping it would be a great game nonetheless.
I’m most excited about the new call of duty by activison/infinity ward as well as the new halo by 343 industries. Call of duty because its headed back to when the games were a lot of fun to play and Halo because its been a while since the last one. Also the revealing of a new xbox would be pretty cool to see and to find out where they are heading with future consoles.
Can’t wait to see some news on Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt. So far it look amazing!
I am excited for FIFA 20 since I am a huge soccer fan and I am excited for the next Playstation console.
I am interested in hearing about Nintendo. I’ve grown up playing the games and still enjoy them to this day, Nintendo always finds a way to reignite that childlike sense of exploration that always brings me back.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Always enjoyed Star Wars games and don’t see this one being any different. Can’t wait.
Baldurs Gate 3! 20 some odd years and few games have sucked me in like the originals.
