Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. With the rapidly changing gaming landscape thanks to new streaming options you may have recently changed where and when you play games.

Square Enix’s possible release date reveal of Final Fantasy VII Remake has me excited.
As a teen, I was enthralled by the original PS version and have enjoyed replaying it many times over the last 20+ years. I’ve lost interest in a lot of other franchises over the years, but keep coming back to Final Fantasy games. I hope the HD remake is amazing!
Excited to see if Microsoft announces the next XBOX. Though I’m more into PS, it’s exciting to see the introduction of next gen!
Looking forward to Borderlands 3. Its going to be EPIC!!!
I’m excited about Respawn Entertainment’s release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. I know that the game will tell an original story about Cal Kestis, a surviving Jedi Padawan and it sounds great.
I am most excited for the release of SEGA Genesis Mini box in 2019 mostly so I can play Sonic The Hedgehog alongside my 7 year old daughter. I hear the controllers are exact replicas of the one I played with as a kid. I definitely want to preorder the system so I don’t miss out.
I was the most excited about the game Persona 5 Royal, announced by the developer Atlus! I loved Persona 5, as it is one of my favorite games, and I’m really excited to discover the new elements (and music!) that Atlus will bring in the new enhanced game.
Not an official announcement, and not a great deal of information, but there have been some leaks & rumors regarding Fable 4! I am very excited to hopefully hear more, as it’s been nearly a decade since Fable 3 – and it’s such a great series. Thanks so much for the great contest, this would be amazing!!
i am very excited for the October release call of duty modern warfare. this game will reboot the cod franchise and reinstate it as the greatest on the market currently.im also excited captain price and soap are back. thought they died?
Cyberpunk 2077 is the latest effort from CD Projekt Red, makers of The Witcher series of epic role-playing games. I’ve never really been into FP shooters but the art and augmentations you can choose from have me really excited for this game. I’m actually planning on buying the next generation playstation because of it so i can play it and overwatch with my friend.
Would love to see more about Cyberpunk and be surprised with a release date on current gen consoles by the end of 2019

I am very excited for both Pokemon Sword and Shield from Nintendo. I have playing the Pokemon series since Pokemon Red & Blue. I am interested to play an open world concept of Pokemon, similar to Mario Odyssey & Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
I’m excited for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare from Activision. It’s important to me because of the soft reboot. Where are they taking the story and which characters are you following. It’ll be nice to see Price again, even though I’m still pissed about the end of MW2.
Def excited for Larian’s Baldur’s Gate 3. The first two are must-play classics and for many of us, instant nostalgia generators. Excited to see what the folks behind Divinity can do with the franchise
The game I gotta be excited for is battle for the bikini bottom rehydrated, the original I had a good time playing as a kid and since THQ is back with a remaster. I’m very excited to see what they will do.
Baldur’s Gate 3
I am most excited for the game Overwatch 2 from Blizzard. I jumped into the first Overwatch a bit later on than some players but the variety of characters for every playstyle is awesome and the continued playability of new skins being introduced constantly.
I am most excited to hear more about call of duty: modern warfare. And Activision has done a great job in the modern warfare series. They did not say very much about this game and the announcement of the title was later compared to past call of duty games. They said they want to go back to a more present day war based game not as much of a futuristic game. And I have been waiting for this to happen for a while.
Really excited about Google Stadia. It’s an interesting development and a huge step forward for the industry. Hoping it will live up to the quality we expect from Google.
Halo 3 was one of my all time favorites, so I’m hoping halo infinite can reignite the flame for the series!
I’m definitely most excited for Baldur’s Gate III, just announced from Larian Studios during the Google Stadia reveal! They’re such an incredible team, and Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2 have proved they’ll do Baldur proud!
The announcement that has me the most excited is HALO infinite for xbox one! Halo has been one of my favorite multiplayer games of all time. It brings back tons of memories pulling all nighters playing with my friends and having 4 on 4 battles! I can’t wait to see what 343 Industries has done this time and what the new HALO has to offer! 🙂

I’m excited with the GEARBOX release of “Borderlands 3” because I’ve enjoyed Borderland from the beginning.
I am most excited for the Playstation 5 by Sony. I heard it’s backwards compatible with all previous Playstation models. I hope it stays that way, seeing as Black Ops 3 is my favourite game on Playstation.

square enix announced that it will reveal its MARVEL AVENGERS video game! i can’t wait, i am so excited to play this fun game with my favorite Marvel superheroes!
I’m always excited to hear about what Nintendo has in store for the coming year. I don’t really go in looking for one particular game as I leave that to the Nintendo crew to showcase and get me amped for. I know my kids will be especially looking forward to hearing about the new Pokemon games.
Ubisoft! I’m most excited for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. As a huge fan of thier games I’m super hyped to see what they have in store for us. I mostly play on PC so this will be my choice of platform.
Pokémon shield and sword from Nintendo. After detective Pikachu, and getting thrown back into Pokémon love, I more excited than ever for this.
I’m excited for Square Enix to release the new Avengers game! I just finished the new Spider-Man game and I loved it. The Avengers game is supposed to come out sometime in 2020 which I saw on the techradar announcement. I’m really looking forward to playing the game because I love all of the characters and I think it will be super interesting to be able to possibly rotate and play as any character you choose.
I’m really excited for The Avengers Project from Square Enix. We are huge Marvel fans in our house and we can’t wait to play as our favorite characters!
I’m most excited to see more gameplay from CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. Hopefully they’ll announce a 2020 release date! I can’t wait to play it and Naughty Dog’s sequel to the Last of Us on PS4. The PS4 has totally rekindled my addiction to gaming after being disenchanted with videogames for years.
I’m really looking forward to some more info about a new Metroid game from Nintendo
Although Sony is not going to be there, I am getting excited to learn more about Xbox and hopefully they will reveal their next gen console and we’ll learn more about the X-cloud. I don’t own an xbox this generation but their current Game Pass is really appealing and I wish Playstation could follow them some how with their recent partnership. Just hyped for the next few days!
I’m looking forward to learning more about Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 from Blizzard. I still play Overwatch but Diablo 3 was a bit of a let down for me when compared to Diablo 2. I’m curious as to what Overwatch 2 means in a game that is updated so frequently.
I am super excited about the new Halo Splispace engine and changes to Halo universe. This has been my favorite franchise since the original xbox days and change is more then welcome. I am also looking forward to new Fable and Forza game. Cheers !
Definitely Halo Infinite since it’s coming out on pc. Definitely want to hear more about Halo MCC for pc as well especially the release dates for each game within the collection.
I am most excited for EA’s new Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 3 game, which they announced in March of 2019, as I love the first person shooter take on an already masterpiece of a game – the original 2D Plants vs. Zombies. I’ve experienced hours of endless fun while playing the first two garden warfare games and can’t get enough of the series! Each game seems to somehow become better and better and allows my mother and I to experience utter bliss whenever we have free time. This series, like many others, represents far more to me than the lines of code it consists of, but rather an endless experience that enables myself and my loved ones such cooperative fun that is far greater than the price I pay upfront.
