Great sounding music, in every room in your home, is easier than ever to achieve. The options are endless. Enter this contest and you may just get some amazing Thonet & Vander bookshelf speakers for your living room, or dining room, or bedroom….

Where do you need more speakers

I have speakers in 3 rooms in my home. In my kitchen I have a Google Home Mini with a speaker. It works great for setting timers while cooking and playing some background music or podcasts from Spotify. I also have one in my dining room, which is less ideal for music, but fortunately the open design of my home allows my living room tower speakers to provide the full rich sounds throughout both the dining and living room areas.(Actually, my Google Home Mini still controls all of the music coming from those speaker too!).

However, I could use more speakers: in the bedrooms, in the bathrooms and on the outside deck. I think most of us can, and the speakers we are giving away in this contest would make an excellent addition to any home.

Thonet & Vander speakers sound great and are very versatile

Blogger Jeff Wilson had a chance to test these speakers for our blog and he says these are probably the best sounding Bluetooth speakers he has ever heard. Read his article to find out about their power, versatility (connect with wires or wirelessly), and the great finish of these speakers. They are bookshelf speakers, so you can put them almost anywhere you want to have amazing sound.

In this image they are on Jeff’s stereo stand. You can connect them to your television, your stereo or use them as they are. They have an amplifier built in so you can just stream your content from your phone to the speaker using Bluetooth if you want.

With that kind of versatility you could put them almost anywhere in your home. Enter this contest, and you may have to decide which room gets the honour of providing a new home for these great speakers.

How to enter

This contest is easy to enter, but you can only enter once. First look around your home and figure out all of the rooms where you ideally would want to have great stereo sound. In a comment below this article, tell us how many speakers you think would be ideal for your home. If you also have a preference for the kind of speaker you would like in each room then please include that information too.

What you can win

At the end of the contest we will select one entry from all eligible comments to receive a pair of Thonet & Vander speakers.

This contest will run from February 2nd until February 15th.

You can only enter once. Share this entry to give your friends a chance to win too. We regularly conduct many contests on the blog (trust me there are many more on the way this month!) so your friends might reciprocate and remind you to enter one of the others!

Good Luck!

  1. I have a great set in my living room but looking to make one of the other rooms an entertainment room and need speakers for it.

  2. They would definitely add to the basement set-up..that is completely unfinished as of yet! Mancave? gameroom? Arcade? 😛

  3. These Thonet and Vander speakers would look good anywhere, but I’d put them in the living room. Perfect! I like to listen to the radio in my bedroom, so maybe a set for in there would be nice too.

  4. Our home is seriously lacking any good speakers! The only speakers we have are those built into the TV and on our Bluetooth speaker. Would be nice to have some quality sound for our TV!

  5. I definitely need a pair of great speakers in the basement – that’s where I can turn them up the loudest!

  6. If we had two in the living room, they would also provide enough sound for the dining room. We already have a bluetooth for the kitchen.

  7. I’d love to have these two speakers in the living room with a vinyl record player… would be awesome.

  8. No doubt in my mind I would set it up around my living room where I consume 95% of my content. Anywhere else would just be a waste

  9. I would love to have 2 speakers in the dining room, 2 in the kitchen and 4 in the tv room for a total of 8 speakers.

  10. I think 8 speakers would be ideal in my home; two in each of the three bedrooms and two in the living room. Cheers!

  11. I dont have a very big place so 2 Thonet & Vander speakers would be perfect in our livingroom because thats where we watch movies and our favorite shows together. A extra speaker would be nice for our teens room. She would not have to wear those headphones all the time and she can hear me calling for her lol! Thanks for the chance, fingers crossed!

  12. I would love to have 10 speakers – 2 for the rec room, 2 for the living room, 2 for the main floor computer, 2 for my office, 2 for my garage

  13. I would like at total of 4- 1 each for the kitchen, computer room, bedroom and basement TV/exercise room-thanks for the opportunity.

  14. My home I would need 2 in the family room, dining room and basement for a total of 6. We have really old ones and really do need to update but something else always seems to break that we need to replace right away, like last week -30 and the garage door broke!

  15. Would need a pair in the kitchen, then some more in the basement, and you know, some portable speakers for the deck/outside in the summer.

  16. A total of 2 pairs for my home would be fantastic!

Having a pair for the bedroom with my Mac would be great since I produce music on my computer + I love watching movies on my iMac.

The 2nd pair would be great to have in the living room to replace my old tower speakers (they sound great but they are a HUGE space waster). The Thonet & Vander speakers would also pair very nicely with my Google Assitant.

  17. There are 3 computer systems that need better sound and the sitting room would benefit from a small floorstanding setup.

  18. I would love a soundbar or 4 speakers for the bedroom. 4 for my home office for my gaming and would love a surround system in the living room for entertainment.
