Does your home need a big screen, jaw-droppingly amazing Samsung QLED TV? Why? What is it about the features on the newest Samsung televisions that make them perfect for your home? I’ll go over some of the things that I like about them. What I really want to know, though, is what you like about Samsung QLED TVs. Tell me that and you’ll have a chance to win one of the best televisions available in 2020.

Why would you want the best television available in your home

Technology evolves. We’ve seen this happening as each new speaker design, new smart home tech, and new computer come out that sound better, or do more, or do more a lot faster than ever. Television technology too keeps getting better. When I was young, my family had a tiny TV set with a black and white display and only two channels. In only a few decades we now have unbelievably massive and slim TVs that can be mounted on a wall like art work, and can deliver almost an infinite variety of entertainment with realistic clarity to our homes.

Big screen and amazing displays are just the beginning when it comes to Samsung QLED

Picture what owning a new Samsung QLED TV in your home would look like. Can you do that? Me, I don’t know if I fully can. Right now my television is a 27 inch Samsung TV from over ten years ago. My imagination struggles with how different watching movies or sports would be; or how gaming would be more immersive, realistic, and just so much more fun.

Here are some of the things I like about the newest Samsung QLED televisions. First of all, there is the Quantum Dot tehcnology with dual-LED backlighting delivering brilliant colours and stunning contrast. Then there is the AI processor ensuring no matter what source of content, it will be enhanced to fully capitalize on the size and features of the screen. The last feature that I love and want in my home is Ambient Mode, so when I’m not watching television my living room has beautifully imagery, or artwork, or useful information on display—rather than having the room dominated by a big, black rectangle.

  8. I would love to let my teck geek side loose on the Smart TV. I want to explore what it has to offer compared to my first TV which was black and white with a single rabbit ear style antenna.

To be honest everything about this tv is far superior to my current TV, now that Im apparently into gaming, I dont know the specifics behind it but I am sure the 8k picture quality and quantum processor and backlighting will all be features that will be useful with new consoles to come. thanks,

  11. I like that the 8K Quantum Processor optimizes the sound for each scene. Sometime I have problems making out the words in some scenes.

  16. After reading this article I had to look up Ambient Mode on Samsung’s web page. What a very cool feature that I would love! This TV would be wall-mounted in our living room (main floor). I doubt I would use blend into background feature on the Ambient Mode much as I would be too busy using it to showcase photographs by day! (By the way, I love that it can display two photographs side-by-side or a sort of collage). At night the brilliant colors and stunning contrast sounds like it would bring our TV watching to an all new level! The TV we currently have in the living room would be moved to the rec room (basement) to our kids’ delight.

  34. Our 52′ Samsung tv is at least 10 years old and still works great, but I would love a new Samsung 65″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV. You asked “feature(s) found in new Samsung QLED televisions you want in your home”? I had to look up QLED, “Quantum Light-Emitting Diode, that means a QLED TV is just like a regular LED TV, except it uses tiny nano-particles called quantum dots to super-charge its brightness and color”. Wow, not sure what that means, my sons would know, it sounds amazing though. Then I had to look up “Ambient Mode, the TV screen changes automatically according to the surroundings. … Samsung’s Ambient Mode is designed to cloak the television by mimicking the look of the wall behind it or to enhance the environment”. What is 4K?, ” means a clearer picture. And to get such high levels of clarity, it has more pixels (8,294,400 to be exact) on the screen at once. These are all being used to create images that are crisper and capable of showing more details than standard HD”. I love the internet, my continuing education source, trying to keep up with my kids. I would love to win a new Samsung QLED television, with all these amazing features. Thank you

  42. Alongside the other great features of this TV, ambient mode sounds fantastic. To display a living work of art in my home instead of a blank TV when not in use sounds like the future I want to be apart of.

  43. During this quarantine I had the idea of getting fit through home workouts. A few days in I swung a kettlebell and hit my tv. I’m most looking forward to a new SCREEN that isn’t SHATTERED. now instead all I see is a fuzzy dystopia with a reflection of myself with CNN news taunting me in the background.
