So many people have Sony on their wishlist at Christmas time. Sony under the Christmas tree

I’m surprised no one has invented a holiday song related to finding Sony under the tree on Christmas morning. Holiday songs are all about traditions we cherish and repeat and I think Sony has become part of many people’s holiday tradition. Don’t we all have a Sony holiday memory? I know I do.

A long, long time ago, I was dying for a portable cassette player: and of course Sony was “the brand” with their Walkman line. There aren’t many gifts from my past that I remember opening, but I can recall unwrapping that bright yellow Walkman Sport like the one shown here—vividly remember!

My first thin LED big screen TV was, and still is, a Sony. I’ve had it for over 13 years now and still love the picture quality. When it finally bids me farewell, the Sony XBR55A8G that we are giving away in this contest would be a fantastic replacement. I sent one of these to Shelly to review and she absolutely loved it for watching the newest movies and even for gaming. The OLED screen really has to be seen to be believed—it is that amazing!
