Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Which one are you dying to add to your collection?

Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

Boost your Star Wars collection with one contest entry

Few people have the dedication, and the good fortune, to have a large collection of Star Wars toys. Enter this contest and that will change. We will give away 2 great collections of this year’s new Star Wars toys as shown here:

Each of these prize packages has intelligent droids, exciting and fun drones, and the just announced, augmented reality wonder: Jedi Challengesβ€”I bet this will be the hottest new toy for Christmas this year!

How to enter

As with all contests on the Best Buy blog, entering is easy. You can enter only once. In a comment below this article, tell usΒ which one of the Star Wars toys in this contest prize is your favourite and why (you must tell us why it’s your favourite).

What you can win

We will randomly choose 2 winners from all eligible entries. One person will be awarded Prize A shown above, and the other will be awarded Prize B. Each prize is worth approximately $1880.

This contest runs from October 20th until November 2nd, 2017.

Remember you can only enter once. With prizes this fantastic, I suggest you increase your chances by telling all of your friends and family to enter too, and propose if any of your win you share the prize! Use the share buttons below to easily post the contest on your social channels.

Good Luck!

  1. We have to pick just one!! I guess I will go with the SPHERO SW BB-8 although I love them all. I am choosing the BB-8 as my favorite because I feel like it is something that makes star wars come to life in a sense. I would have my very own droid!! Would love to be able to share it with my students at school as I think they would really enjoy it. BB-8 could be our class pet (minus the feeding and cleaning πŸ™‚ )

  2. I’d love prize pack B. It would go with the decor and my bunny would love chasing BB9 around for the rebellion!!

  3. My favorite is the SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID because it’s R2-D2. He’s the head Droid. The Droid that all droid’s long to be and I would love to see the look on my sons face if I was lucky enough to win & give it to him as a Christmas gift. All these Star Wars toys/gadgets are Epic!!! Thanks so much Best Buy!!

  4. I really like Sphero Star Wars BB-9E App-Enabled Droid because it rolls and moves like the movie and we could watch fr Star Wars movies from its selection. He just looks so neat.

  5. Oh man the UB Tech Stormtrooper would be my favorite in this group. Who wouldn’t want to play Lord Vader/Kylo Ren & command your own trooper. Would be a great addition to go along with my original Kenner Star Wars figures.

  6. I would love the LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES.

Ever have one of those long days when all you want it to hit something? well – why risk doing that at work, with the jedi challenges you can take out your frustrations on virtual enemies.

  7. I would love to get the Propel Star Wars TIE Fighter Advanced Battling Quadcopter Drone and the Propel Star Wars X-Wing Battling Quadcopter Drone so we can have the ultimate space battle

  8. They are all awesome but I would choose the UB TECH STORMTROOPER. Aside from the awesomeness of him and all his fab abilities, he matches the stormtrooper console of my Kia Soul EV. Maybe he can can guard it at night and fend of would be intruders so it won’t be broken into again.

  9. Little Bits Starwars Droid Inventor Kit. It’s my favorite because my kids would love it and my son would love to build it with his dad. My son knows all the star wars movies.

  10. I would love the Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid (R201FCA) for sure for obvious reasons. I’ve always wanted an R2D2, he was always my childhood favorite. And well cause well hes awesome!!

  11. Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid because my son would love it!! He is in love with Star Wars and has an obsession with robots (he is 3). Also – BB-8 is so adorable!!

  12. I think the Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid would be my favourite. It would be like having a cool pet follow you around except this BB8 would actually listen to you πŸ˜›

  13. My favourite toy is the Sphero R2-D2 I remember growing up watching star wars with my dad and I would pretend to be R2-D2 and hide in a metal garbage can making the noises. The first thing I would do after winning is go WEEP WEEP BOOP NOOP WOOP!!!

  14. Sphero Star Wars BB-8 App-Enabled Droid (R001TFC) – White/ Orange/ Grey would be my choice. I am new to star wars but quickly fell in love with all the droids, BB-8 being my favourite so far. Can’t wait for the new movie.

  15. Easily, the LITTLEBITS STAR WARS DROID INVENTOR KIT would be my favorite gift to give my son. The reason? He is eleven years old, has autism and he is very set on his interests and passions. Those interests happen to include anything Star Wars, anything space, and what he wants to be when he grows up – an inventor. The whole family is in to Star Wars though (me included) so it would be great to share those awesome toys!

  16. The app enabled R2-D2. Being able to watch a Star Wars movie with my two girls and having him react would be amazing!

  17. UBTECH Star Wars Stormtrooper Robot, obviously, because the Stormtroopers are the coolest and they are always conveniently where they are needed.

  18. The Sphero R2D2. I’ve always loved R2, and as much as BB8 and the new characters are wonderful, having a moving, whirring, light up R2 in the house would be like meeting your childhood hero.

  19. The UB tech Storm trooper… Last year my son had an accident my old Explorer in a snowstorm and wrapped it around a telephone pole. Luckily no one was hurt, but I replaced it with A white F150, thick winter tires, (storm trooper mats and decals)…. I told him that storm troopers don’t hit anything so he will be much safer this winter. The UB tech Trooper is amazing tech, much like most of these devices and toys. I am glad to share my love of tech and star wars with my children and nephews in fun and creative ways and I am glad Best buy is doing the same…. keep sharing the tech and Star wars…. may the force be with you and may none of your troopers hit anything this year.

  20. Awesome contest. I loved Star Wars growing up. These are definately cool toys. I’d say my fave is the Lenova VR because I know my son would go nuts for it.

  21. The Tie fighter would go well in my son collection. HE`s 17 with autism and Star Wars is all that matters.

  22. Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid would be my favourite because it would be my favourite dorid following me around all day! And I would get a kick out of seeing my dog freak out over BB-8!

  23. I love all things Star Wars, though the SPHERO STAR WARS BB-9E APP-ENABLED DROID is my favorite. I chose this one not only because I’m a fan of the look of the new droid, but because my daughter is really into Sphero right now and we would have a blast with this!!

  24. So hard to choose! I think I’d have to say the Sphero R2-D2. My 7-year-old son saw it in a store yesterday and played with a demo version for an hour. He LOVED it! He is totally Star Wars obsessed and would have the best time watching all of the movies with this little guy beside him.

  25. I love the littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit because it would be such a wonderfully fun learning experience for my nephew to build his own droid! I love that you can customize it using things you have around the house πŸ™‚

  26. My favorite is STAR WARS BB8 RC because I can use it to chase after me annoying neighbors’ dog and teach it a lesson. πŸ˜› Also my twin nephews will have a blast with it to, just like me.

  27. I want the lenovo Jedi trainer: star wars challenges, because who doesn’t want to be a Jedi!? But on the real, Ive been waiting to try a VR product and this would be the dream product to try it on. I also have 10 nieces and nephews and I’m sure they would enjoy some of these products as Christmas gifts. #favoriteunclestatus

  28. I would love the VR Jedi kit. I’ve always wanted to feel like a Jedi. As a kid I always tried to use the force.still do sometimes.ita my dream to use it one day lol.

  29. I would love to have the Sphero Star Wars R2-Q5 app enabled droid. My kids and I are huge Star War fans. We watch the movies, have some books, Star Wars lego, and have Star Wars Halloween costumes too! This would be an incredible buddy to watch the movies with and see how it comes to life!!! This would make Star Wars real live entertainment in my home! There’s nothing that would compare to an experience like this!

  30. My favorite is definitely the propel x-wing drone. The built in stunts and ability for laser battles is awesome!

  31. The Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges, because I always wanted to be a Jedi and VR seems the closest thing to it right now.

  32. Our most desired item on the Star Wars list is the UBTECH STAR WARS STORMTROOPER ROBOT. This robot’s skills would definitely be an educational stimulant and social stimulant to our son with autism. It would certainly entertain and stimulate joint co-operative play, make use for language and commands. Our son has musical capabilities that would be further enjoyed. The use of imagination would come to life. It would be awesome to have and watch and a joy for all of us to engage in!

  33. The Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon is pretty awesome – VR is just cool in general.

  34. Sphero BB8 is by far my favorite! I love how he can sound like the original and move like a real droid. I would love to make movies with this Sphero and bring the Star Wars magic along.

  35. The Sphero R2-Q5 App-Enabled Droid because I want it to download information and deliver it to me just like the time R2-Q5 was forced to download the data from the R4 and deliver it. Whether Q5 fulfilled the mission, prior to the Emperor’s death, is unknown, so I feel that I can help fulfill his destiny.

  36. Prize B: would be perfect to share with the kids, especially the vetch watch would be the boom for my kids to learn time telling!

  37. One of the things I love about Star Wars collecting is that it’s never boring. We have endearing classic characters that have remained iconic throughout the whole saga, but there are always exiting new characters with every new movie. That is why the SPHERO STAR WARS BB-9E APP-ENABLED DROID is my favorite. Thanks!

  38. Love love star wars anything i can Enjoy with my sons and we also have a little boy that started living with us that recently lost his mother in an accident want him to have a great christmas his first without his mom merry Christmas to all
