LG has created a new premium phone, the G8x, that raises the bar for what a smartphone can be. It has two screens: the one that accompanies the regular phone and another screen in its case: click the phone in the case and suddenly your phone becomes a multi-tasking wonder machine. Additionally, it has one feature that most of us hated to lose on other new premium phones: a headphone jack! You may be wondering how much use you would get out of two screens on a phone. Personally, I think it’s life changing. Face it: we look at phones more than we look at our partners. You can have the game on one screen and the controller can be on the other. The possibilities are ENDLESS!

  3. I’d be able to let my children watch two different YouTube shows while out shopping or reply to a text without interrupting the video!

    This could be a game changer as long as they dont fight over volume or who gets to hold it lol.

  5. The dual screens would be great for watching a streamed sports event, like a football or hockey game on the first screen, then live tweeting comments on that game on the second screen. Such an interactive experience.

  10. Wow this would be so awesome I could video chat my sister in London on one screen and video chat my other sister in Florida on the other would be a family reunion since we don’t get to see each other very often. Perfect way to keep in touch.

  16. I’ve had Type 1 diabetes for 25 years and have recently started on a CGM ( continuous glucose monitoring) device. The app to get the information of my blood sugars is only compatible with my wifes smartphone and not my LG V20. It would be nice to have the app on a dual screen phone and have the one screen dedicated to my blood readings so I could see them instantly.

  21. Well – I would probably use this phone to show off to all my friends. It would be nice to have an electronic device better than what they have. šŸ™‚ I watch movies on my computer while chatting on the my landline so I could watch a movie and babble while away from the computer.

  49. I would use it to take notes on online courses that I frequently take. It would be very useful to be able to watch a video on one screen, then use a note taking app on the other to record whatever I wanted. This would be so helpful!
