Celebrate the fun and excitement of PC Gaming during Intel® Gaming Week. Best Buy Canada kicks it off with great deals on Intel-powered laptops and PC Gaming accessories that will boost your gaming experience in ways you can only imagine. Running from May 12th to 26th. Intel Gaming Week features some of the top names in PC gaming including MSI and Dell (who supplied the prizes for this contest). Read on to learn more about Intel’s most advanced processors, including Intel’s 12th Gen processors released this year. Then enter for your chance to win one of the two amazing laptops we are giving away.
Step up your gaming and leap ahead of the competition
Last year Intel released the amazing 11th Gen H Series processors bringing desktop calibre performance to laptops. Intel called it, “Desktop power for any desk” because Intel-powered laptops have evolved to deliver comparable performance of a bulky desktop so you can play high resolution, maximum frame rate games anytime and anywhere.
This year Intel announced an evolutionary leap in computing with their 12th Gen series of processors. We covered the main features of this announcement in an article on the blog at the beginning of this year. Gamers will get huge performance improvements thanks to the new hybrid architecture. The 12th Gen series mobile processors feature up to 6 Performance cores (P-cores) optimized for maximum responsiveness, and up to 8 Efficient cores (E-cores) optimized for threaded workloads and background tasks. Power gamers will be able to overclock both sets of cores to get faster performance than ever before.
Built for the next generation of gaming
Obviously, a gaming laptop is used for much more than just gaming. The ability for a laptop to keep gaming performance at maximum intensity while also performing complex background tasks is becoming more and more important. Many games require a steady connection to the internet during a game, for competing and for communicating with team mates in other cities; for downloading game components and add-ons; and more.
One of the most demanding auxiliary tasks that gamers do is live streaming or live recording for later playback of their gameplay. There are many people already streaming on Twitch and YouTube, and most are not able to stand out. The fact is, many gamers don’t have a machine powerful enough to keep their gaming at a peak level while they stream: the demands of streaming can dramatically impact the quality and consistency of gameplay, and thereby affect how engage their audience is. Imagine the challenges for a laptop to try to keep up with the complexities of a battle, the graphic demands and more, while at the same time capturing the action and sharing it over the internet. 12th Gen Intel® CoreTM powered laptops were built so you get the best of both worlds: the best gaming laptop and the best multitasking laptop ever created. Streaming with a laptop like this may be just what you need to stand out from the crowd.
Now is your chance to take on the world
Intel Gaming days are your chance to find the right machine for your gaming needs at a great price. Throughout the event you’ll find great deals on the newest 11th gen and 12th gen Intel powered laptops. You’ll also find great deals on gaming monitors and peripherals. And you can enter this contest for a chance to win one of these two amazing laptops!
How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways.
- In a comment below, tell us would you consider streaming your gameplay if you had one of the new laptops as discussed above, and why or why not. If you already stream your gameplay, do you post on a social site like YouTube or Twitch or just for fun (you can put your channel link here for some free advertising if you wish).
- For up to three (3) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) telling your friends and followers that you are entering to win a Dell or MSI laptop from the Best Buy Blog’s Intel Gaming days contest; include the hashtag #BestBuyContest, so we can find your post, and include a picture of the prize like that shown here. Then return here and tell us in a comment below, on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that I can check and verify your entry. You can use any social media channel (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc) but the post must be public so we can verify it is there. Add one comment below for each social media channel for up to 3 contest entries.
What you can win
At the end of this contest we will randomly select two (2) winners from all eligible entries. One will receive the Dell G15 15.6″ Gaming Laptop and the other will receive the MSI GS66 Stealth 15.6″ Gaming Laptop.
This contest runs from May 6th to May 26th.
Remember you can enter in two different ways as described above. However, tell your friends to visit Best Buy during Intel gaming days to check out the deals and so they too have a chance to win a great gaming laptop.

Good luck.
I would not stream, but would definitely be happy and over the moon with a new laptop for gaming, photo editing, and oh so much more.
I don’t stream but I would love to.
I would absolutely use it for streaming and making gameplay for YouTube videos!
I would probably stream but rather than game streaming I would be streaming game development and content creation!
I would consider streaming even though I’m an amateur.
I would probably only stream to friends if at all. I think it would be really fun to stream some multiplayer games to some friends!
I am an amateur gamer, so no streaming my game play (too embarrassing).

Let we get this and I’ll practice then maybe I can stream. 🙂
I would absolutely use it for streaming and making gameplay for YouTube videos! I’ve been planning out a channel to make fun and informative videos but have been waiting to get a powerful computer to be able to play and create.

I wouldn’t stream my game play because I sure nobody would want to watch me!
Could really use such a quality laptop.
Would love to give it a go!
I probably would stream. I don’t know what game I would play but, provided I had another monitor to hook up, I would be open to it. I think it would be too difficult to stream on just a laptop though

Currently, no fast access to stream. But in the future maybe.
I have attempted streaming before, but my current machine can’t handle it very well. But with a better laptop it would make it possible.
I likely would not stream because I’m not great at talking about what I am doing while I’m gaming and the chatter of the player is one of the things that draws people in to watch a stream. Also sometimes I get distracted and might be working on an epic quest and then all of a sudden just exploring some random side quest.
I would consider streaming my game play with a new laptop because I am actually pretty good
I would not consider streaming my game play because nobody would want to watch me!
I use my old laptop all of the time, but I wouldn’t consider streaming with a new one. I just don’t have any free time!
I’m sure my son would stream
Yes I would consider streaming my gameplay on one of these laptops there fast and amazing quality
Yes, I will consider streaming my gameplay if I had one of the new laptops and can get better at my gaming skills!

I definitely would consider streaming! I think it would be fun! It would help my connect with fellow gamers and meet new people…and I could use some gaming advice, not going to lie!

Currently do not stream due to our access isn’t high speed so not fast enough plus the privacy issues and our computer is too old to handle it.
Privacy is a big concern so no I won’t stream.
I would definitely consider streaming my gameplay if I had either one of the new gaming laptops shown here because I wouldn’t have to worry about lag! 🙂
I would need a lot more playtime on my new laptop if I was going to stream
Posted on twitter and my handle is @z_nix2
I would not stream not good enough player.

I’d have to switch over from Xbox to PC master race because those gaming laptops look like absolute beasts and could support both streaming and Apex Legends simultaneously, removing the need for an extra device to stream from!! That would be awesome!
My kids would probably love to stream.
No I would not stream, privacy is a concern.
For privacy concerns I wouldn’t stream.
no one here will be streaming – access isn’t fast enough for that.
