Adding a monitor, like the many types from ASUS, to your home computing environment is the easiest way to boost productivity and make gaming more fun. Going from one monitor to two opens up even more possibilities. So consider what your life will be like if you win this three monitor set up that we are giving away in this contest.

How does adding a monitor change how your work and play

What would you do with more screen real estate? My wife and I were discussing this yesterday as I was making notes for this article. As a teacher tasked with doing online instruction for the first time in her life, she had no trouble seeing the benefits of three monitors. She’d put Zoom on one, for her video interaction during her classes, put her Google Forms assignments and quizzes on another screen, and use the 3rd screen for Microsoft Teams or email depending on which class she had at the time. Rather than flipping from one application to another on the single screen she currently uses, she would have them all right in front making her work so much easier.

Multi monitors are a gamer’s dream environment

I actually sent this contest prize to reviewer Dave Neufeld to test (that’s his photo at the top of this article!). Dave correctly points out that we are chronic multi-taskers (as my wife’s situation above supports) and having extra real estate helps a lot! But he also tested it for gaming and found that this particular set up with three amazing ASUS 27″ VG279QM TUF gaming monitors, connected using the ASUS ROG Bezel-Free Kit to give the illusion of a seamless appearance between each individual monitor is very impressive.

The winner of this contest will get all three monitors and the Bezel-Free kit! Read carefully the rest of this article so you don’t miss out on a chance to win.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can enter only once below and once on Dave’s review article. Yes that is correct you can enter twice in total. In your comment you must state how you will use the extra screen space. Will you dedicate one screen to photoshop, one to email … what will you do with three 27-inch screens in front of you!

What you can win

At the end of this contest I will draw one winner who will receive three ASUS 27″ VG279QM TUF gaming monitors and the ASUS ROG Bezel-Free Kit.

This contest runs from April 3rd until April 20th.

Remember you can enter once below this article and once below Dave review article for a total of two entries (as is usual for our contests, entering more than one comment at each location is not permitted).

  1. I would use the multiple monitors to spread out all the windows used with GameMaker Studio 2.

  2. I’d use this for gaming, live video and scrolling research for articles on different sites to find differences.

  3. This would be so nice to have. During my down time I would use one or two for gaming, one for videos/music and one to keep an eye on Facebook to see what my friends are up to. But it would really be helpful when working. Most of the time when working from home I have so many tabs and screens that I have to flip through. I honestly think it would increase my productivity to have such a large screen work space. I would use one for my spreadsheets or invoices, one for my accounting program or website and one for emails. I also think it would provide me with a lower error rate. Flipping from a spreadsheet or email then over to accounting program, copy and paste does not always work, and when dealing with so many numbers, it can be really easy to forget what number it am adding to which sheet. Just thinking of the productivity, get me so excited. I could work smarter, not harder.

  4. When I saw the photo of the 3 monitors together, I was so surprised. I feel it’s just what I needed at this point in this exceptional time when working from home. I have a small monitor, it works well for what I normally do at home (surfing, excel, a few games). But certainly does not do the job for doing office work. Going forward, and working at home in the future, it definitely would be useful for the numerous tasks. Email, Collaborative tools, Excel, main work, and internet.

  5. The possibilities are endless and i would mix it up – but at first i would use one for watching movies one for work and the other for emails. Awesome contest, thanks so much for the chance to win this!!

  6. Wow! It’s the first time that i see we can attach 3 monitors together! It’s very useful for any kind of monitoring performance & high availability systems !

  7. I would use the monitors to read emails on one screen, work on excel spreadsheets on the second one and stream tv shows or utube videos on the last one.

  8. I would reserve one of them for communication/social media. That would be such a huge benefit.

  9. With the extra screen space, I would use one screen for writing music, one for email, and one for other work.

  10. Now that I am working from home, this would be great to have multiple files open at once and to be able to go between the files easier.

  11. Three would be amazing! I’d use one for photo-editing, one for keeping up with email, and one would be great to leave an an entertainment option such as movies. Thanks!!!

  12. Three screens!!! Wow, I would be in heaven. One screen for email, one screen for social media, and one screen to actually do my work since I work from home. Then, in the evening, I’m sure my son would take over all the screens for his games.

  13. Where would I start? These monitors would definitely improve my working from home experience, during this Covid-19 situation as well as after, as my employer is leaning towards having employees work from home more often going forward. Three screens would make me much more productive. When I have the time during the day (eg. stuck watching training videos or webinars) I could use one of the monitors to stream something like Golf so I could escape, at least mentally, to a more engaging place. Gaming would obviously be the plan in my free time. Even my wife said she would get into gaming if she had those monitors to play with.
