Review: Easy to use fitness and sleep tracking with the Misfit...

0
Using fitness trackers means I can gauge my progress, keep track of how far I’ve run, and always know how many calories I’ve burnt. Although there are a lot of great fitness trackers on the market now, I don’t always have the time to set up a new system or learn a new app. What I need in a fitness tracker are features like ‘simple’, ‘precise’, and ‘easy to use’, and that’s why I’m seriously impressed with the new Misfit Flash. It ticks all the boxes and, thanks to the app, even gives you info on your sleep patterns.

Review: Samsung Gear S2 finally gets it right

0
Samsung has tried and tried again to get it right with its smartwatches, having come to market with no less than six different iterations in about two years. All failed to really capitalize on what was then a wide open market looking for a trendsetter. The Gear S2 marks a turning point in both design philosophy and performance, making it the most complete wearable the company has made to this point.

Beach-ready smartwatches you can take in the water

0

If there’s one thing that I love about the summer, it’s the water. Pools, beaches, lakes, you name it; give me a big body of water and I will try my darnedest to (1) never get in it, and (2) spend all my time right next to it. Depending on how mischievous my friends are feeling, though, objective #1 isn’t always so easy to achieve–which is why it’s so important for all of my wearables to be safely waterproof or water resistant!

Review: Motorola Moto 360 is a sweet smartwatch

0
Smartwatches running on Android Wear have had a tough go of it since first launching to some fanfare last year. Part of it has to do with the slow appeal of the category as a whole, but the rest can be chalked off to a platform that needs to grow up. With the second-generation Moto 360, Motorola has made a case for putting out a serious contender to win over some hearts and wrists.

Review: Jaybird Reign Fitness Tracker

0
For the past week, I’ve been rocking a new accessory on my left wrist – the Jaybird Reign Activity Tracker. Introduced earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Reign goes above and beyond what other activity trackers offer by encouraging balance and prompting those who wear it to improve their habits. It tells you when you need more sleep, when you need to take it easy, and when you are your optimal self, and I recently got a chance to take one for a test drive. Here’s my take after wearing Reign 24/7 for one week.
