It’s perhaps the most and least surprising news to Disney Infinity series fans: The Star Wars universe is going to be a part of the series! With 3 announced playsets, the appearances of all the familiar faces and the ability to mix and match them in all episodes, Disney Infinity 3.0 is primed to be a big hit this Fall. A wild man in black and white, fighting for what’s right, Sting was to the WCW what guys like Brett Heart were to the WWE. How many imaginary matches have friends young and not so young pitted their WCW legend against a friend’s WWE Superstar in an imaginary clash of the titans, back and forth across the ring, the highs, the lows!  The two counts! Next up at my Xbox booth tour at E3 2015, Microsoft invited me to come meet the developers of Rise of the Tomb Raider and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, two of their biggest upcoming games this fall on Xbox One. During these private sessions I got to learn more about each game, here are the key takeaways!

Get those consoles and controllers ready because September is set to be one of the biggest months in video games ever. Bioshock. Destiny. Batman. NHL. FIFA. Dragon Quest. Forza. Yo-kai Watch. These are just some of the incredible game franchises that will get new releases this month. As if that wasn't impressive enough, there is also some new IPs on the horizon, including Ubisoft's Just Sing and the Xbox-exclusive ReCore. Let's take a look at the games!

As a gaming reviewer, I get to play a lot of different types of games. Sports, Puzzle, Adventure, you name it.  This year was viewed as a fairly weak one amongst a lot of my peers, but I didn’t see it that way.  Despite the fact that, yes, there was a lot of disappointment, there were still a few diamonds in the rough, and some absolute gems too.  Here’s my personal top 10 for the year 2014, starting with Bravely Default (Pictured) and going from there.

 Bethesda opened their E3 2016 press conference in a huge way with the reveal of Quake Champions, the next entry in their arena-style first-person shooter franchise, and a game most of us probably didn’t expect was coming. That wasn’t all the new game announcements though, as Bethesda also showed up Skyrim Special Edition, and the much hope for return of Prey. 

Are you ready for another reason to wiggle, kick, swing, and otherwise use your body in amusing fashion to control a video game?  Rare and Microsoft sure hope so!  With the new generation of hardware now in play, and the ole Motion Control Kinect technology used for little more than (albiet the always fun and amusing) dance games, we’re all waiting for something to live up to the promise of motion gamings first explosion onto the scene. With its six varied ‘sporting’ activities  Kinect Sports Rivals aiming to do that very thing.
