The latest Fallout 4 add-on became available to buy online this week and if you are a fan of settlements it is a must have add-on. Wasteland Workshop released on April 12th and brings a ton of new features to settlements. So kick back and watch an arena fight or two after you have trapped whatever you want in your newly decked out settlement.

It’s all about settlements

The latest add-on from Bethesda for Fallout 4 is all about settlements. The Wasteland Workshop adds a ton for those of you who really enjoyed and want more out of the settlements in this game. It adds new items for you to jazz up your settlements, such as new lighting like neon lights, concrete dwelling sections like walls and floors, plus traps and cages for every type creature in wasteland.

With all those traps and cages you can capture and tame any creature in the wasteland, or if you are like me you can build a giant arena and make your settlers battle it out with increasingly bigger and badder creatures. I guess you could also make wasteland zoo or go the flashy route and deck out your settlement with tons of crazy neon lights, but where’s the fun in that? The best part about this add-on content is it’s all up to you as to how you use the new features they have added to the settlements.

Well worth it

It might be the smallest of the three current DLCs we know of for Fallout 4, but that doesn’t mean that it should be ignored. This is a great buy for those of you looking to get even more out of the settlement feature in Fallout 4. Also if you read my article , you have a great start with my Settlement Guru character build. However, if you didn’t plan on using that specific build just keep in mind, to be able to construct all the new items, you will need one point in the Animal Friend and Wasteland Whisperer perks, respectively, and four points in the Science! Perk.
