E3 2017 Project ScorpioWhat I’m looking forward to seeing

Xbox

There’s so much to be excited about at E3 2017, but top on my list is Microsoft’s Xbox Scorpio. We now know the console’s specs (and they’re very impressive), but what does it look like? When is it releasing? What is the price and what games can we expect? There are still many unanswered questions surrounding Scorpio and hopefully E3 will shed some light.

In terms of Xbox games, I’m hoping we’ll see more Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, and State of Decay 2. We know all of these games are currently in development, so gameplay updates or release dates would be awesome. As for Xbox’s franchises like Forza, Halo, and Gears of War, we’ll almost certainly get hints at what’s to come.

E3 2017 PlayStationPlayStation

One word: Kratos. The God of War himself is back and I can’t wait to see more from Sony. Last year’s gameplay reveal shocked us with its incredible new direction, and it seems fitting that we’ll see more soon. Aside from that game, Sony has a huge number in development that we may see at E3 2017. These include:

  • Days Gone
  • Death Stranding
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • Dreams
  • Everybody’s Golf
  • Gran Turismo Sport
  • Knack 2
  • Spider-Man
  • The Last of Us: Part II
  • Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Even if half these games end up appearing at PlayStation’s keynote, it’ll be an amazing show. I also fully expect Sony to have a surprise or two waiting for us.

E3 2017 NintendoNintendo

Now that Nintendo Switch has released, it’s time to see what Nintendo has coming next. Games I’m looking forward to seeing include Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Fire Emblem, and Xenoblade Chronicles II. Nintendo’s booth is massive this year, so I fully expect to be blown away by what I see.

Ubisoft

Big news is expected to come from Ubisoft at this year’s E3. Highlight include details on Far Cry 5, a new Assassin’s Creed, The Crew 2, and South Park: The Fractured Butt Whole. South Park we’ve seen before at E3, but the rest will be making their very first appearances this year. Ubisoft always has a fun and exciting press conference, so it’s one to look forward to.

E3 2017 BethesdaBethesda, Activision, and more

There are so many other companies and games we’ll be covering during the week as well. I’m looking forward to Bestheda’s Showcase, which could include The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Switch), Fallout 4 VR, and Quake Champions. Later, we’ll be visiting Activision to get the lowdown on Call of Duty: WWII and Destiny 2. Other games I’m excited to see at E3 2017 include Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Red Dead Redemption 2, and the EA Sports lineup.

It’s going to be a busy week, no doubt, but also tons of fun. It’s going to be an amazing journey, I’m looking forward to sharing it all with you!
