A smart home needs a great router like the many new routers from TP-Link. They are the central element that keeps all of your smart technology connected to each other, to your apps, and to the internet. Best Buy carries a great selection of powerful routers, including some of the newest Wi-Fi 6 routers, perfect for today’s smart home. Next month is smart home month at Best Buy and to kick off smart home month we are giving away two TP-Link Wi-Fi 6 Mesh 3 Packs for your home.
Secure and convenient smart home tech begins with a great router
Smart lights, smart cameras, smart locks, smart appliances … all require the same thing: a strong, reliable Wi-Fi signal. Your ISP (internet service provider) is doing their best to get the internet to your home, but from there it’s up to you to have the right router for your needs. Router technology has drastically improved with the introduction of Wi-Fi 6; that two year old router you’ve been using might be ready for an upgrade.
Smart home month at Best Buy is our chance to showcase the newest technology that will add convenience, security, and energy savings to your home. On the blog, we’ll have lots of articles to help you find the right technology for your needs. We’ll also have several contests to help you win some great tech. However, with smart home tech, it all begins with a powerful router.
TP-Link routers are made for the connected home
Our homes have become data superhighways sending and redirecting data traffic in a million directions. Our phones, tablets, and computers are connected. Our smart cameras, smart lights, and smart fridges are connected. And on top of all that data traffic, we are streaming music, TV, and movies to our connected televisions and speakers.
We expect all of this data to seemlessly get rounded-up by that often ignored box in the corner—the router—and be sent to the right destination in our homes and outside our homes. Some routers do this better than others and TP-Link Wi-Fi 6 Mesh routers are the newest and most powerful to suit all levels of internet usage.
The prizes we are giving away come with three nodes: place them around your home and they connect to each other to provide up to 7000 square feet of sublime wireless internet coverage. You’ll walk from one end of your home to another, upstairs or down, and have zero interruptions in your Wi-Fi signal. And since these routers have the newest Wi-Fi 6 technology, anything new you add to your home—possibly a new Wi-Fi camera over the garage—will easily connect at the fastest possible speed so you get the most from the tech you buy for your home.
To learn more about this router and the benefits of Wi-Fi 6 and mesh technologies, read the review that Brad Moon did of this router earlier this summer. After reading that come back here to enter this contest … then you can start dreaming about all of the new tech you can add to your home if you win!
How to enter
