Wacom graphic tablets vs pen displays

Wacom is one of the leading names in graphic tablets and pen displays. Their products are designed with battery-free pens, which means that you never have to charge your stylus. Whenever you find your artistic muse, your pen and display will be ready to create with you. Graphic tablets like the Wacom Intuos Graphic Tablet and Wacom One Graphic Tablet are a great choice for students, hobbyists, and digital artists in training. They’re an affordable option with a paper-like feel, and they come with customizable ExpressKeys to help you streamline your workflow. However, a graphic tablet doesn’t feature its own display.

To upgrade your digital atelier, reach for a pen display instead. The Wacom One Creative pen display has a generously sized 13.3″ screen with natural-feeling surface friction. It can be used both as an extended display and as an artist’s tool. Its surface features 4096 point pressure sensitivity, plus 60 levels of tilt recognition. The One Creative comes with a pen display, Wacom One pen, 3 replacement pen nibs, and your necessary cables and adapters. It also comes pre-loaded with software features like Clone Tinting, perspective Guides, and SmartStroke brush technology so you can achieve multidimensional results right out of the box.

  1. I’m already drawing a lot using pen and paper (animals, scenes, monsters, whatever I feel like), this would be the perfect transition to digital.

  2. I would love this. I’m trying to write a children’s book with my daughter and this could help us animate the story together 🙂

  3. What a wonderful giveaway! Next year, I plan to major in Art History and Studio Arts, so winning this would be really helpful academically. Good luck to everyone!

  4. I would love to use it to create digital art. To expand my life drawing capabilities and to explore new areas of art.

  5. The iPad Pro with pen display would meet all of my needs for creating logo designs or basic graphics. This Wacom One pen would be amazing.

  6. My daughter in law is a teacher. What a great gift, as I believe that this pen would be very useful for her .

  7. I think the pen display would work best for my needs. The touchscreen drawing tablet with a high-quality digital display would be great because it’s nicer to draw on a separate surface than the tablet itself so I don’t mark up and wear down the screen over time.

  8. I would love to use this tablet for drawing (black and white and colour), painting, and making art that looks like mixed media – fantasy, positive-message, and affirming art. I’ve only used actual pencils and paint, and then scan my work, so it would be awesome to create it digitally the first time.
