In this edition of Connected Home, I take a look at keyless entry. There’s a much smaller selection of keyless entry home devices than some other things like light switches and bulbs, but what’s out there is high quality and easy to enjoy. Are you looking for a new deadbolt system altogether, or something that works with your existing keys and lock system? I’ll lay out some options for you and compare a couple products out there already.

November 21st signals the arrival of Super Smash Bros for Nintendo WiiU as well as Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, reboots of the popular Game Boy Advance games.  Following Sony’s PlayStation E3 press conference, attendees were invited to a second event where we were able to get hands-on time with their upcoming PlayStation VR. I got the opportunity to check out The Getaway: London Heist and walked away impressed enough to believe that VR is indeed the gaming future we’ve all been dreaming about. I wasn’t just playing the game, I was in the game. 

Sony has introduced a new camera into its repertoire with the Alpha A6300, a successor to the A6000 released in 2014. The new model, while trimmed down in size, boasts more under the hood, making it one of the more compelling mirrorless cameras to hit the market.

It felt like E3 came to Toronto at Nintendo’s recent “Summer Celebration and Media Showcase.” Nintendo’s entire E3 show floor line-up was on display—and playable—for media, friends and family to try out.   With a fresh E3 experience on the horizon and all the new goodness the technology explosion brings us, its probably an ideal time to look back.  E3 has been a longstanding platform for the gaming faithful, it’s also where folks who have had a taste for nerdy and awesome things find out about the interesting media coming down the pipe.  A wonderful hub where the wide eyed hordes whet their appetite for what’s next, and lets just have a look at the sorts of things E3 has already brought us.
