Thinkware Dash Cams are easy to setup and use devices that deliver a wide range of benefits. Many people are aware that they could use the captured footage from a dash cam to help establish their innocence if they get into accident. However, they may not be aware of some of the other amazing benefits dash cams offer. You’ll find out for yourself how great these are if you read the information below before entering this contest. And if you enter this contest, you might win one of eight new Thinkware dash cams.
Thinkware dash cams are easy to use
I’ve sent Thinkware dash cams to various writers and there are a few commonalities across these reviews. First of all, they all found the installation and set up of the device extremely simple. For example, Dave Neufeld wrote, “Getting up and running with the Thinkware F70 Dashcam could scarcely be much easier.” In her review, Shelly Wutke said, “… it couldn’t have been easier.” Matt Paligaru explains how easy it is to install the front camera of the F200 he was sent then stated, “Installing the rear camera is just as easy.” And, after testing the F800 Brad Moon stated, “First up, installation of the dash cam was easy.”
See a pattern here? Multiple different independent reviewers, using different Thinkware dash cam models, all found that these are easy to set up. Furthermore, they all had no issues with using them as intended.
Why would you want a dash cam
Another commonality across all of these reviewers was what they saw as an important reason to get a dashcam: insurance claims. No one likes to be falsely accused of causing an accident. Dash cam footage has been used by many people to prove their innocence when the evidence was unclear or especially when the other party in the accident was not honest. Dash cam footage has also been used to help people get out of traffic tickets issued erroneously. “I didn’t go through a red light, officer; and, I can prove it!”
If you have teenagers, then a dash cam is a great motivator for them to driver responsibly: everything will be recorded and reviewed when the car is returned. Speaking of reviewing footage: you can also do this after a week of driving to help self-diagnose bad habits and become a safer driver youself.
Of course, you are likely familiar with one other benefit: capturing amazing or shocking events. I live on a tiny island, where the deer outnumber people 3 to 1, so I would likely capture a ton of footage of deer crossing the road if I had one. But YouTube has many examples of people capturing really cool footage like fireballs and meteorites—all thanks to owning a dashcam.

Good Luck
I would like the Q800pro for security and safety. There are so many crazy drivers out there!
I like the Thinkware U1000 4K UHD Dash Cam with Rear Camera & Wi-Fi.
The F800 would be a nice choice for taking a cross-country trek!
My favorite is definitely the Q800Pro – which I would use to capture dangerous situations (road infractions, including driving while using mobile devices) and share them with law enforcement. We need to weed out bad drivers.
I like the F800 and would love to capture cycling trips
The F800 would be a nice choice for taking a cross-country trek!
the X700 WOULD BE NICE TO CAPTURE THE MOMENTS
i would like the Q800pro for the fact that it has also has a rear camera. it would have so many useful features for not only capturing accidents, bad impaired drivers to report and to catch spectacular events from mother nature, like wildlife or beautiful vistas when on road trips1
Thinkware X700 Dashcam
Q800Pro with the feature to capture license plates.
I love the “Thinkware U1000 4K UHD Dash Cam with Wi-Fi ” love this style the best and the fact that it has Wi-Fi and the night vision would be amazing. Not all Dash Cams have good night vision. I love the size of the screen also. I would love to be able to record an accident taking place in front of my vehicle, or including my vehicle, heaven forbid, so I would have the proof of what just happened. Especially when there are no witnesses.
Q800 for the rear camera!
I like the nightvision on the F800
I have been looking at this option and think I don’t need the best model so I will say the I would like the F700 dash cam. It would give me an added sense of security. It would be be great to win it. Thanks Best Buy.
I believe there would be a need for higher resolution, therefore the Q800Pro would be my choice. – I would hope that I would really never need it to prove my innocence in any altercation, proving I am not at fault.
The Thinkware Q800PRO 2K Dashcam with Wi-Fi would be great as it warns of potential red light cameras . . . how sweet!!!
I would like the Thinkware X700 Dashcam system in my vehicle. Having both front and rear cameras are a necessity given all the aggressive and dangerous drivers that are on the roads.
Q800 Pro so I can get licence plates of vehicles I follow that have been trespassing across on property on a regular basis
I like the Q800pro. I like the wide angle and the wifi capabilities. I’d be very happy to protect myself from careless drivers
I really like the Q800pro for the fact that it has a rear camera. It’s all about the ones that ride right on your rear end, especially in the winter time, that can be running right into you. For insurance it can show that you were not the one at fault.
F800
I like the Q800pro. I like the size, the wide angle and he wifi capabilities. I’d be very happy to have that in my car without impacting my view of the road.
The X 700 but I don’t know a lot about these cameras.
The Thinkware’s Q800PRO dash cam is my favorute and I would hope to catch some close call accidents but no damage.
I would like the F700 dash cam. It would give me an added sense of security to be able to record what is happening out there. I have been looking at a suitable dash cam for a while now and would’nt it be great to win it.
the F800
I like the F800 dash and rear view camera
The X700 with rear and front camera would be great for us. We travel by car a lot. To Florida each year and at least once to Ontario each year. The camera would give us a sense of security.
The Q800Pro would be my choice for sure, with the rear view camera? – I would hope to capture anything on the dashcam that may be required for legal reasons, such as an accident proving I am not at fault.
The F70 would be great with a new teenage driver in my home
I like the F800 dash and rearview camera!
I believe higher resolution is a better choice. The Q800 Pro sounds great to me. Besides recording the road for safety reasons, it would be nice if I can share the footage of my journey here to my family back home in Asia
I want the X700. Want to capture some viral video on the road.
F800 so I feel safe and security and also to capture animals
f800 seems good. Film the cops when ever they are near for my protection. They are bound to be doing something wrong
My favorite Thinkware dash cam is the Q800PRO and if I win one I hope to capture with it everything that happens around my car mostly for peace of mind, and maybe a mama duck with her ducklings crossing the street to show my son later.
I would really like to have and install the Thinkware X700 Dashcam system in my vehicle. Having both front and rear cameras are a necessity with all the distracted drivers in Winnipeg. I cringe at every red light I’m stopping at because it’s only a matter of time before I’ll be rear ended by a tailgater.
The F800 is my favourite and I would love to catch some wild weather or near misses while driving.
I would want the Thinkware Q800Pro for the parking surveillance, wi-fi and rear camera
I’d select the ThinkWare Q800Pro
I think the F700 dash cam would be my pick
The ThinkWare Q800Pro is my choice for safety and security.
I would like to try the F800 dash and rearview cameras. This would help me feel safer in case of a accident
the Thinkware Q800PRO to protect myself from careless drivers
The ThinkWare Q800Pro to capture an animal like a moose on the screen instead of on my windshield…and for road safety awareness…Thanks blog.bestbuy.ca !
The F800 would be great. My teen is learning to drive and having video would be a great learning tool
F800 dash cam would be my pick. I would like to install one for my safety and security
I would love the F800 for snowmobiling
The F800 would be great. My teen is learning to drive and having video would be a great learning tool
F800 to capture bad drivers
I am for the Q800Pro because of the wide angle, especially able to see the license plates of other vehicles, in case of an accident and needing that information for my insurance company.
