I know that Cuisinart has been creating amazing appliances that make our lives a little easier for many years. However, their new Cuisinart Griddler Deluxe is the first one that I saw and instantly wanted in my kitchen. Instantly! Read on to learn why and to find out how you can enter for a chance to win the sample we sent out for an honest review.

What can you make with a Cuisinart small appliance

We purchase some small appliances for a very specific purpose. With a Cuisinart coffee maker, we make coffee. I bought the Cuisinart Popcorn Maker shown on the right to make … popcorn! Other appliances we buy for their ability to serve a variety of purposes. So you would buy a Cuisinart toaster to toast, you would buy a Cuisinart Toaster Oven to toast, and grill, and bake, etc. The Griddler is one of those more versatile appliances that you purchase to make more than just one thing.

As you can see in the image at the top of this article, it can open up to reveal two independently controlled cooking surfaces. Each cooking plate is reversible: one side is a griddle; one side is for grilling. And each plate can be at different temperatures at the same time. I can see grilling some veggies on one side for the vegetarians in the family, and cooking a steak at a completely different temperature on the other side for the non-vegetarian in the family—me. The veggies and steak would remain separated since each is essentially on its own grill. And it can also be used as a Panini press: a deluxe panini press too!

The Cuisinart Griddler Deluxe opens up to your imagination

What would you do with a Cuisinart Griddler Deluxe? Personally, I can’t get breakfast out of my mind. I try to think of other things but this one word flashes past my mind’s eye repeatedly:

Bacon         … Bacon         … Bacon

and it’s all Shelly’s fault. She reviewed this same appliance sample that we are giving away as the prize in this contest. And she did a great job of showcasing many things that it can do but especially the breakfast possibilities. I love breakfast! Read her review and watch her video:

Now tell me you don’t want to eat breakfast—right now! Or perhaps for you it was the burgers that made you salivate. Keep reading to find out how to enter for a chance to win the Griddler Deluxe that Shelly tested.

  1. I would grill a Chicken Pesto Panini. I would add extra virgin olive oil, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, pesto, salt & pepper, tomato, mozzarella and ciabatta rolls

  2. I`d love to grill some eggplant, asparagus, sweet peppers and zucchini for a mid-summer soiree with family and friends. The easy clean up is my favourite feature.

  3. I haven’t made them yet, but I would love to try mac and cheese griddle cakes which would increase favour with my seven year old and at least be an alternative to her requests for mac and cheese.

  4. I’ll make an extra special grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and lots of spices! Yummers! Can’t wait to get that grill going baby! Good luck to everyone who enters!

  5. I’d love to do a few things. I think reheating left over pizza would turn out well. I’d love to grill avocados on them, also grill some cheese until it was melted and then put a mayo brushed sandwich on top of it and make a beautiful grilled sandwich. Steak would be something i’d love as I find when not on a bbq it just doesn’t cook right inside.

  6. What wouldn’t I try to make in this awesome griddle? I can see cheese quesadillas in my immediate future, turkey, bacon, mushroom grilled cheese., etc…

  7. My favorite tofu veggie burgers and the ultimate comfort food Grill cheese and dosas if I can make them lol.

  8. Some websites say Griddlers is an alternative to Steaks if you don’t have an outdoor grill. This item would be most ideal.

  9. The first thing I would make is a frittata with eggs, mushrooms, potatoes, peppers, ham, tomatoes, spinach and cheddar cheese. Oh how delicious it would be. Once it is christened I would have my steak and hamburgers. Can wait to try out the Cuisinart Griddler Deluxe .

  10. I would make a Panini with fresh tomatoes and basil from our garden along with ham and cheese. Our granddaughter would love it.
