What is a “Mixie”

I am very fond of a “Mixie” as it is a very important appliance that I, and most Indians, frequently use in our kitchens. It is found in almost every Indian household and used for prepping most Indian dishes, milkshakes, juices, smoothies, purees, spice-grinds, and much more.
