Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. I am really looking forward to seeing the exciting new world(s) of Borderlands 3 and more weapon varieties because it’s exciting and insane to think there are over 1 billion weapons now in-game. I am also hyped for Cyberpunk 2077, CD Project Red never fails to deliver beautiful, in-depth game worlds, innovative gameplay mechanics with a captivating story that keeps you wanting to play more. Call of Duty Modern Warfare will be a nostalgic but refreshing take on the series (let’s hope, because I am craving a single player COD experience since BO3 lacked one) and I have been anticipating Jedi Fallen Order ever since I caught wind of it. Also looking forward to learning more about the new consoles emerging in the next year or so and the new technologies and performance enhancements that will come along with.
I’m excited for Pokemon: Sword and Shield by Nintendo. Been a fan since the RBY days and would spend countless hrs training and battling. I’m excited for how the new meta will shape to be with the Deltamax mechanic and more open world concept.
So, why am I excited for Final Fantasy 7 the remake by SquareEnix? First of all who wouldn’t be? It’s one of if not the most iconic RPG that cemented my love for the genre. When I play games even now I compare it to the fun I had traveling the world with fun companions and building bonds that have lasted me a lifetime. When I think about how this new game is gonna redefine those memories for the countless more generations to come I get pumped! Hoping to see everyone in Midgar!

I am most excited about the announcement that Google reveal the pricing and launch details about the Stadia platform this week. This could be a revolutionary and industry changing platform if it delivers in most aspects and is well supported by developers. It has even probably pushed Microsoft/Sony in to a sorts of alliance regarding cloud gaming as a part of the future. Sadly it may mean we are on the brink of the end of the disc based era. And the easy accessibility of fast and 24/7 working internet still has to become a reality for all this work out.
I am most excited for Pokemon Sword and Shield as well as the new Animal Crossing from Nintendo for the Switch. I am a long time Nintendo girl, I remember going to my Uncle’s house to play the super nintendo and then he got me my own Gameboy with Tetris for Christmas one year. Playing the Switch with my 4 year old now just brings back those good memories and I can’t wait for some good games to spend some quality time with my little guy.
Looking forward to The Last of Us 2 by Naughty Dog. Excited to see what happens next in the story and if there will be an associated PS5 announcement.
I am most hyped for persona 5 the royal by atlus because the original persona 5 really stopped me from being depressed and atlus adding on to the story I already love so much is the best thing I could ask for
Sony Final Fantasy 7 Remake for the PS4 because it was the first RPG I ever played in 1997 and was never interested in RPG’s before. I borrowed it from a friend and bought it the next day. Still have never won an online contest since the internet started. One day.
I want to hear what the new XBox console will have now that PS5 details have been out there. I want to see what the next generation consoles will have in store.
I was most excited by the Pokémon Sword/Shield Direct. I have been playing the Pokémon games from the very beginning, so it was always going to be a day one purchase for me, but the announcement of all the new features has got me even more eager to play this in November!
I’m most excited for Pokemon Sword / Shield coming out on the Nintendo Switch! After seeing the new changes and additions to the game, I’m looking forward to its release more than ever, with the recent announcement relieving most of my doubts about the developers, Gamefreak, not following up on the innovations they did for the Sun/Moon games. I definitely hope the story and characters are as good as Sun/Moon, though.
I’m excited for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, developed by Respawn, published by EA.
First of all, we haven’t seen a lot of Star Wars in this decade. The only two current-generation titles would be the Battlefront games, whose primary focus has been on online multiplayer.
Despite the fact that we see more and more multiplayer games nowadays, I do think that current generation produced a lot of incredibly good story-driven games, capable to tackle serious themes (take God of War for example). Will Fallen Order deliver in terms of story? I think at this point there’s no reasons to think otherwise. The previous title Respawn developed, Titanfall 2, featured a very good, innovative and emotional storyline.
Plus, the developer already confirmed that the game will take place on many different planets, the main character will wield a lightsaber, and a droid-companion will share the journey – sounds like everything you wanted from a Star Wars game, right? It seems to me that the studio takes this game very seriously, and I can’t wait to see gameplay this Friday, June 7th!
In most excited for Pokemon Sword and Shield developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. This is the first mainline pokemon game in the series being built from the ground up for a home console. It’s going to push the series forward in a similar sense that Pokemon X & Y did for the 3D movement.
I’m excited for all the great Nintendo switch games coming out. Never too old for Pokémon and fire emblem.
I am most excited about Fire Emblem : Three Houses for the Nintendo Switch. I have played all FE games since the first game on GBA in North America. I love these games as they helped develop strategic thinking during childhood since Fire Emblem is famous for its permadeath mechanism. Every Fire Emblem game release is a highlight of my year.
I was excited when Google announced it’s Stadia platform a couple of months ago because I mostly play PC games, but would love to play them on the big tv without having to hook up my laptop.
I’m most excited for The Avengers project being developed by Square Enix because I am a massive Marvel fan of the films and comics. All upcoming Nintendo Switch games peak my interest too!

Excited for the release of Google Stadia this year because the upcoming game Doom Eternal will also be available in it according to Google, as Im a big fan of the Doom series and won’t have to worry much if my PC won’t run it very well.

I am most excited for Death Stranding, developed by Kohima & published by Sony. It was announced at E3 I’m 2016 by Hideo Kojima, with follow up content posted this year.
The direction I’m excited for games to go. Strong story driven single player campaigns that aren’t afraid to push the boundaries (dark stories with strange supernatural elements). With excellent (voice) actors to boot!
I’m really excited by the Ubisoft new game “Watch Dogs Legion”, a new Watch Dogs game set in London, in “a post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes”, where “every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated & guided by gameplay systems”, thus allowing users to “play as anyone.”
This sounds like a really revolutionary way of playing, so I really want to try it. Besides, I a fan of Watch Dogs.
I would definitely buy a PS4 version of it——as long as I won the PS4 Prize Pack LOL, otherwise I’ll buy a PC version. I’m currently a gamer of PC and Switch, but I would love to have a try on PS4 🙂

Pokémon Sword and Shield by the Pokémon Company (Nintendo). A new Pokémon game always provides the right mixture of nostalgia and excitement. I’m excited to see the new Pokémon that inhabit the Galar region and the new features Game Freak have added to the game.

Excited for Link’s Awakening. It’s been years since I beat the original and I am excited to experience the enhanced version for the Nintendo Switch.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order from Respawn! I’m super excited for Respawn to be in charge of this project as I’ve loved the Titanfall series as well as Apex Legends. I love that the Star Wars universe is so well connected between all mediums and games are no different. Force Unleashed series was incredibly fun to play and its going to be amazing to see a Star Wars game like that with this generation of graphics and mechanics and see how this game dives into the Star Wars lore.
I’m pumped for Super Mario Maker 2. I still play the first one, and SMM2 looks like it is going to improve on it in pretty much every possible way!
I’d have to say my most looked forward to game is The Last of Us part 2, with Death Stranding coming a close second. Single player story driven games will always be needed, and games like these are what push the limits of gaming, showing us that video games truly are art.

And I could only hope that Death Stranding would be announced but as Sony is not attending E3 it won’t happen. I am a big fan of Hideo Kojima’s work.
And also I would love to see Splinter Cell 7 as it is a Ubisoft version of Metal Gear Solid. I’m also extremely excited for Watch Dogs Legion, Borderlands 3, Dying Light 2, Doom Eternal, Madden NFL 20, Fifa 20 for PC.

The official release of the video game Dauntless manufactured by Phoenix Labs and co-published with Epic Games is the gaming announcement I’m most exited for in 2019! The reason is that I LOVE fantasy RPGs and the goofy comic style of Epic Games’ games. Also because I’m obsessed with Fortnite I’m very eager to play any games Epic Games creates 😀

The pokémon sword and shield announcement really has me super excited! I’ve been looking to get a switch and this would be the most perfect time to get one! The nintendo switch pack #1 is perfect because of all of the games it has! I’ve been really wanting to get all these games for a while now and once I saw this announcement, I was shaking in my boots I was so excited! I was doing lots of research and I read that the nintendo switch was perfect for playing with a group and on the go fun! I’ve been waiting to find the perfect time to get one, but this giveaway got me really excited! These are the reasons why I think that the nintendo switch pack would be perfect for me.

This was the game that I bought the first PS1 for and it got me into the PlayStation universe. I’m eternally grateful for FF7 because I now love the Sony consoles and have bought everyone since!
I can’t wait for this new FFVII Remake game because it’ll feel like going into my past and living that part of my life again.
Mortal Kombat 11 got me excited. I have played almost all the versions released till date including DC vs kombat and the graphics kept on improving and the game play is really great
