Here are the biggest video game releases of April 2017

In the first quarter of 2017 we saw the release of a lot of amazing games such as Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Yakuza 0, Horizon Zero Dawn, Nioh, For Honor, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and NieR: Automata—just to name a few. As we enter the second quarter of 2017, the hits keep on rolling in with some of the biggest video game releases this year.

Spring is here and Atlus brings its first numbered title in the Persona franchise to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. LEGO fans are in for a treat with LEGO City Undercover coming out for the first time on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Bulletstorm Full Clip is a remaster of the 2011 title that is distinguished by its sense of style and crass humour. Rounding out the first half of April is the much anticipated Yooka-Laylee developed by former Rare employees.

The second half of April is just as exciting as the first. Puzzle fans get a dose of Puyo Puyo and Tetris action in Puyo Puyo Tetris. Square Enix is back with Dragon Quest Heroes II, now featuring online multiplayer features allowing you to form a party of up to four. April goes out with a bang via Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch. Mario Kart fans will not want to miss out on this definitive version of the game.
