Play your favourite tracks on this 360 Reality Audio Sony speaker

What will you play on the Sony SRS-RA3000? This pill-shaped speaker is a great companion for music lovers or anyone who just like to have a something playing in the background. It has incredible features that make for immersive and easy listening wherever you place it at home. We sent Jason Gorber the Sony SRS-RA3000. Read his review for information on its features.

Playing in a regular playback mode the Sony SRS-RA3000 delivers excellent sound, with incredible treble and bass register, and range not a lot of other speakers can achieve. It also boasts a 360 Reality Audio feature that gives you ambient room-filling sound (given 360 audio compatibility with your music source). Plus, what I like most about this speaker is that it automatically calibrates the sound to suit the space it’s in. It’s definitely the perfect speaker to enjoy your favourite new and old tracks anywhere in your home.

Share your musical interests with the Sony SRS-RA3000

This time of the year is perfect to explore new music, with some of the biggest artists in the music industry releasing their singles and albums one day after another. One of the great things about the Sony SRS-RA3000 is that you and your friends can take turns streaming to the speaker. Share your favourite new song discoveries. Here are a few recent tracks I recommend:

  1. Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul,” has many asking: should I quit my job? The lyrics goes: “Now, I just fell in love / And I just quit my job / I’m gonna find new drive / Damn, they work me so damn hard.” The Queen Bey’s new single, which has the beat reminiscent of a hip hop dance back in the early 90s, encourages us to explore our own personal motivation that goes beyond working nine-to-five.
  2. The song “Left and Right” is a collaboration between Charlie Puth and BTS member Jungkook. It came after the popular group announced hiatus, following almost a decade of hit after hit, making them the most celebrated group worldwide. Puth, known for both sad and catchy songs that have been popular movie soundtracks, has this big collaboration as a definite treat to fans.
  3. The Weeknd’s songs in his latest album, Dawn FM, have been mainstays in various charts. With discordant rhythm dappled with breezy falsetto many of the tracks have a quality that takes us back to the synth, new wave era in the 80s.

The OGs that are making a trend

If you can’t get enough of the old school, then share your all-time favourites. Music from the 60s, 90s, to the early 2000s never fails to fill any room with nostalgia. There’s a whole library of them from which it may be hard to choose, but these two are standouts for me:

  1. Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” has regained popularity on social media recently. The song created a whole new vibe during the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic when a TikTok user took a video of himself taking a swig of cranberry juice then lip synching to the song while riding a skateboard on a quiet road. In response the band’s vocalist Stevie Nicks also posted a video of herself singing the song while tying her skate’s shoelaces.
  2. Since it was popularized by Elvis Presley “Can’t Help Falling in Love” is one of the most covered songs to date. The song was on the soundtrack for the animated film Lilo & Stitch and recently was used as the background song for a grand wedding scene in Crazy Rich Asians. Search this classic on any music streaming apps and you’ll find a much longer list of new versions than you can scroll.
