BenQ projectors

Projectors have been around for many years, yet I don’t think they get the love they deserve! They are more versatile than a television, can display everything from movies to presentations on a huge range of surfaces, and they enable to project a huge range of image sizes. Find out for yourself: enter to win one of four BenQ projectors from BenQ and Best Buy.

Many years ago, when my children were younger, I bought a projector to use as the main display in my basement home theatre. I was shocked that it never stayed in one place: my wife would move it to the bedroom to watch a movie when she was sick in bed, my kids would move it to their bedrooms for sleepovers, and I even took it to work a couple times for presentations. That’s something you certainly can’t say about a television. Rarely a day went by that it was not used for movies, gaming, work and more.

What are some of the great features found in BenQ projectors

Get one of the newest projectors in your home from BenQ and you’ll be amazed at how much you’ll use it. The prizes that we are giving away in this contest, two BenQ SVGA DLP Data Projectors (MS517EH) and two BenQ 1080p DLP Home Theatre Projectors (W1090) were reviewed here on the blog by Erin Lawrence: read her review and you’ll learn why she was “blown away.”

Here are some of the features that impressed her about both projectors:

  • virtually no set up required; plug it in and it is ready to go
  • projected a massive image with amazing clarity
  • bright display even in a brightly lit room

… and specifically about the W1090 (which is designed for home theatres)

  • automatically found the input source including Chromecast
  • picture was remarkable: “this picture rivaled any TV”
  • internal 10W speaker provides fuller sound than the data projector

Which of these features stands out for you as the best? Will you use it mostly for work, for streaming movies … maybe for gaming! Enter now and you may get to find out for yourself how great BenQ projectors are.

  1. I would use it downstairs to watch movies with my kids and move it outside for “drive in” movies in nice weather

  2. Friends of ours use a projector, and it’s absolutely amazing watching hockey games and movies on a huge screen. I would love to win the BenQ Projector, as it sounds like the quality and clarity is superb!

  3. I absolutely love the mobility of it. We can take it to our hall, meetings, members homes, anywhere.

  4. I would use it in the family for movies and sports. I love that it doesn’t have to be too far away, don’t need a giant room.

  5. I would use the projector in my man cave for watching movies. I love the clarity for how large the image can be projected.

  6. I would use it the most for work – although I would like to use it the most ofr home! Imagine watching movies and sports events outdoors on a big screen!

  7. Being no tech expert, my favorite feature is that it has virtually no set up required; plug it in and it is ready to go.

  8. The feature I loved the most was the ease of set up… plug in and it’s ready to go. Perfect for the electronically challenged person like me.

  9. I would use this mostly in my entertainment room and once in a while outside movie night in the backyard! That would be awesome to host big movie nights for the kids!

  10. I would use this great projector anywhere my two young grandchildren will be, either at my home or at their home. I babysit them full time since birth, so we have a lot in common. Owen is 5 now and Saydee is 3. They just turned their new ages in April, both of them.
