What are you looking for in a new TV? A great picture, of course. And a large screen. And smart features. I’m sure there are many things you want in a new TV. But what is the most important feature for you. Enter this contest and you’ll definitely be happy with the amazing features in the Sony XBR55X900E 4K TV that Best Buy is giving away as the prize.

What is the most important feature of a new TV

You won’t find a TV with a cathode-ray, a massive footprint, or a turn-dial for changing channels on the shelves at Best Buy. Instead you’ll see rows and rows of amazing colours, big screens, thin screens, tiny bezels, and versatile, easy to use smart features. In fact, the TV selection has never been better! They are light enough to mount on most walls, bright enough to be clear enough in a very sunny room, and show colours more naturally than ever.

The Sony 55″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR55X900E) is a great example of the best of the best in TV technology and here are a few of its key features:

4K screen: 4K is the new standard for high definition. In fact, this television will make any signal better, even HD quality programming. However, when you watch 4K movies on this screen, you won’t ever want to go back.

HDR: this technology pairs beautifully with 4K resolution screens to make blacker blacks and colours vibrant and realistic.

Triluminos display: Sony adds another dimension of colour vibrancy to ensure reds, blues and greens are shown in the correct hue from more viewing angles, no matter how bright or dim your room is.

Android Smart Operating system: Intelligent, easy to use functions and access to an ever increasing set of applications allow you to get more from your television.

55 inch display: Big screens are simply better! Immerse yourself in the experience.

Voice Control enabled: Speak into the remote for convenient access to content, and control of your televisions features. Additionally, use Google home enabled devices to issue commands.

  1. I saw one of these in store was pretty impressed. I haven’t really looked at TVs since I bought a 2013 model plasma. LCDs have come a long way since then.

  2. I’d love to experience the HDR technology…. blacker blacks and colours being vibrant and realistic sounds awesome!

  3. Gotta be the 4k for me, i still have a 10 year old tv that is 720p i believe… =). Come on BB, pick me!

  4. We currently have an older model Sony and it’s been a great TV but the larger screen size paired with 4k HDR would be amazing to watch movies and play games on.

  5. the most important feature is having another TV so I don’t have to watch “RuPaul’s Drag Race” with my wife anymore.

  6. I think the most important feature is the 4K resolution coupled with HDR. Amazing sharp picture quality with tons of detail in the shadows and highlights. Sony makes the best Televisions!

  7. I think it’s a combo of HDR and the android brain that lets the tv do more.
HDR: I watch a LOT of movies that are dark and it’s hard to watch those movies on some tv’s as they just look all black the screen doesn’t differentiate to see the movie’s dark scene.
Android Smart Op. System: a truly smart tv would be grand – less stuff to keep around the tv!

  8. I like that the tv has a strong picture quality with HDR without being bloated with extra features that you don’t need. Too often tvs come with thing that serve no purpose. Every feature with this tv meets an important need

  9. Well, triluminous display with HDR!!! It falls apart Sony form their competitors. And adding voice control makes it more easy and filled with fun. My friends will love this

  10. 4K and Dolby vision HDR, I want this two features because I don’t feel like changing tv every 4 years so with those two technologies I believe I will be able to enjoy my tv for along time

  11. This is an amazing product with incredible features, graphical detail, and host of options. I would love to have this in my room.

  12. 4K and Dolby vision HDR, I want this two features because I don’t feel like changing tv every 4 years so with those two technologies I think I will be able to enjoy my tv for along time (relatively speaking )

  13. I am excited about the use of Android in the TV’s operating system, and what that means for home integration and automation.
