I’ll go over some of the things that I like about them. What I really want to know, though, is what you like about Samsung QLED TVs. Why would you want the best television available in your home

Technology evolves. We’ve seen this happening as each new speaker design, new smart home tech, and new computer come out that sound better, or do more, or do more a lot faster than ever. Television technology too keeps getting better. When I was young, my family had a tiny TV set with a black and white display and only two channels. In only a few decades we now have unbelievably massive and slim TVs that can be mounted on a wall like art work, and can deliver almost an infinite variety of entertainment with realistic clarity to our homes.

Picture what owning a new Samsung QLED TV in your home would look like. Can you do that? Me, I don’t know if I fully can. Right now my television is a 27 inch Samsung TV from over ten years ago. My imagination struggles with how different watching movies or sports would be; or how gaming would be more immersive, realistic, and just so much more fun.

Here are some of the things I like about the newest Samsung QLED televisions. First of all, there is the Quantum Dot tehcnology with dual-LED backlighting delivering brilliant colours and stunning contrast. Then there is the AI processor ensuring no matter what source of content, it will be enhanced to fully capitalize on the size and features of the screen. The last feature that I love and want in my home is Ambient Mode, so when I’m not watching television my living room has beautifully imagery, or artwork, or useful information on display—rather than having the room dominated by a big, black rectangle.

  1. The Quantum Dot Technology would be a definitte upgrade. We have a Samsung, but it is getting old. Still works great, but a larger set would make it easier to see finer details from a distance. The improved sound quality would be wonderful as well.

  17. I’ve had my Samsung TV for over 11 yrs & have never had a problem. But I’m getting older 67+ & my eyes are aging, so pics don’t seem as sharp as thy used to be. The size & definition would likely be a vast improvement.

  22. I really enjoy watching movies & the Samsung QLED would really improve on the picture & sound quality. The Quantum Dot technology will enhance the colours & contrast for a great image.

I think what I really want in the tv is something that would help with the dark scenes on the tv shows and movies I watch and the “Quantum Dot technology with dual-LED backlighting delivering brilliant colours and stunning contrast” I think would make it easier to actually see something during those scenes that are dark.

  33. Samsung is a pioneer in the OLED segment and this new QLED technology is better than the rest. From the phone displays till these big TVs, the best display panels are made by Samsung.
    I really like the contrast offered by this Quantum Dot Tech, but the Ambient mode offered by this TV wins me over.

    • The AI upscaling on this TV would make my games look crisp and clean without the additional performance overhead.

  35. For me it’s been all about Netflex during this pandemic. Unfortunately my TV screen is so small…this would double the size. I also just purchased a Samsung Cell phone. I’m very tech challwnges but this phone is a breeze! Good luck to all!

  38. I would love to upgrade. I have a 50 inch Panasonic plasma that is 12 years old and i want a oled or qled anyway.

  39. For me, with all the gaming I do, the “HDR” and potential for 4K with at least some of my games would be the most amazing features for sure…..would be awesome to see even more detail in some games, not to mention movies and shows being so clear and crisp 🙂
