Many gamers I know either love their gaming chair or lament not having a really good one. Gaming is not an activity you can just get up from every half hour to stretch and reset. An online campaign can last for hours and leaving your seat may not only let your teammates down, but may lead to a huge setback in the game. Some gamers even forego bathroom breaks to secure a victory. You may not be that “hardcore” but you still deserve to game in maximum comfort; and, you would with an AKRacing Gaming chair like the one Best Buy is giving away in this contest.
Your chair matters for gaming
How much time you spend sitting in front of a screen can affect your overall health. AKRacing has years of experience creating seating for a variety of use case. Their gaming chairs are considered some of the best available. They have solid, durable metal frames and cold cure foam that holds fast and secure for a comfortable experience even after hours of first person shooter excitement. This is a premium gaming chair so you know that it will glide wherever you want it to go, in multiple positions, and adjust to suit your needs—all the while remaining silent so your gameplay is not spoiled by the squeaks and squeals often heard from lesser competitors.
Your chair matters for your health
I don’t have to tell gamers what can happen if they spend long hours in an uncomfortable chair. There are many forum discussion online of gamers complaining of back problems, digestive problems, even breathing problems brought on by making a poor seating choice. Most people don’t notice the problems at first; they develop gradually until you get to a point where you ache. Recovery can be slow too. However, you won’t recover if you continue to use the chair that caused the problem in the first place.
The best way to stay healthy is to make healthy choices before you start to ache. This contest is designed to raise awareness of one solution: AKRacing ergonomic chairs. One person will win one to start their journey to better gaming health. It isn’t the only thing gamers should do for better health. In fact, I want you to help gamers across Canada by suggesting ways that gamers can stay healthy. I offer one solution: get an AKRacing ergonomic chair. One way to enter this contest is for you to suggest other ways.

Gamers can stay healthy by drinking lots of water and taking frequent stretch breaks
Having an ergonomic gaming chair surely helps but at the same time, a gamer should take frequent breaks, do some ergonomic stretches, walk away and grab water/bite, overall it helps to refrain their energy and impart better health on the long run.

Since sitting for long times is the new “smoking”, make sure to take breaks throughout long periods of gaming! A smart watch is great at giving you reminders!
Stretch breaks are very important.
Gamers can stay healthy while playing for long hours by ensuring they get up every so often, even just to stretch and get their circulation going. Doing a couple of jumping jacks would be even better! They should also make sure to stay properly hydrated and to eat at regular intervals. It’s easy to get so into games that you lose track of time and, before you know it, it’s very late! Setting alarms for reminders is a good help, too, if you are someone who forgets to at least check the time.
I have a smart watch that gives reminders to get up and move when sitting too long
