Hey Team! It’s Debra! Your Best Buy Canada Wearable Technology Minx! (Not my official title … YET!) Well, spring is in the air (we hope) and of course that means BASEBALL season starts soon! (My dad told me) So, this week it’s the BLAST Baseball Swing Precision Motion Sensor. The Blast is indeed “wearable technology,” except the person wearing it is a baseball bat. AND—one size fits all! (How often is that true?)

Review: Monbaby is the baby monitor designed to help PARENTS sleep...

Even though your newborn baby is asleep, it can still be a stressful time for parents. After all, there is still risk of things like SIDS or suffocation. Fortunately, Monbaby is here to help. It clips to any piece of your sleeping baby’s clothes and helps look after the baby’s sleeping activity, including breathing, rolling over and more. Come take a look and see if this is what you may need for your (or your family’s) new arrival.

Exclusive: The Wearable Tech Event of the Year

Huge applause goes to the Best Buy Canada team for organizing the #LifeAndTech expo at Dundas Square in Toronto. The day was jam-packed with the latest in wearable technology as well as the chance to immerse into virtual reality. I must preface, I wrote this post at the end of a very long (yet fun) day of tweeting for @BestBuyCanada. In addition, the expo ended with a mesmerizing performance by Bob Marley’s son, Ky-Mani. He jammed out so many great tunes, which included his father’s song “One Love.” I’m high on music! Here’s my full summary of the event.
