Curved screens are increasingly becoming an option for people in the market for a new TV.  But what’s the idea behind a curved screen, and what are the benefits? Are there any down sides? Find out why these new TVs are gaining in popularity.

The Bose QC25 (QC stands for Quiet Comfort) noise cancelling headphones offer a comfortable and well-rounded listening experience – something one would expect from Bose.  If you’re a public transit commuter or business traveller and need a set of headphones to help you immerse yourself in your music or podcasts, then I’d put the QC25’s on your list to try out.

    At CES earlier this year, quantum dot technology was touted a big thing in TV technology for 2015. Although quantum dot TV technology has been around for a few years, it hasn’t really been produced in TVs yet. LG is about to release a couple of new 4K UHD models, one of which is a quantum dot TV. What was great is that I got to test them out side-by-side and see the difference this makes. Both models were excellent sets with extremely clear pictures as you would expect with 4K sets, but the UF9500 with quantum dot technology did have better colour.

If you want a true Hollywood movie experience at home, technically you shouldn’t even be looking at flat panel TVS.  For you, friend, a projector is the way to go.  There are all kinds of great reasons to pick a projector, and if you’re new to the technology, or you’re of the age where you had to watch slides over a weak and dusty beam, take heart.  We’ll help you figure it out.
