With just a few more days until this year’s E3, last year’s curiously popular title Murdered: Soul Suspect is now out. A year off the 20th celebration of the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, and it is truly staggering the amount of media that we have collectively consumed, first mentioned, and then showcased at this once humble event.  Now a premier place for gaming goings on, it’s had quite a life (including a near death!) so far.  So, with this years extravaganza on the near horizon, let’s have a peak at some of the incredible things we first heard of at E3.

Coming this October, the survival horror genre gets a little bit more interesting when Bethesda brings us The Evil Within. Nothing good starts at an abandoned mental hospital, and you’ll be treated to any number of twists, turns and scares. Pre-Order the Evil Within and get access to the Fighting Chance pack, which may just give you that boost, or just prolong your death.

  With a fresh E3 experience on the horizon and all the new goodness the technology explosion brings us, its probably an ideal time to look back.  E3 has been a longstanding platform for the gaming faithful, it’s also where folks who have had a taste for nerdy and awesome things find out about the interesting media coming down the pipe.  A wonderful hub where the wide eyed hordes whet their appetite for what’s next, and lets just have a look at the sorts of things E3 has already brought us.

Belkin is growing their WeMo Product Line this spring with some exciting new things as well as having recently made some huge updates to their mobile phone app for their light switch. I have several WeMo products in my home and am looking forward to some of the new products. Come check it out!

Microsoft held a press event in New York today and while all the buzz was around the possibility of a smaller Surface tablet, Microsoft went the opposite direction. The Surface Pro 3 was unveiled and instead of shrinking, Microsoft’s latest professional tablet got bigger. At 12-inches, it rivals the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, but uses a fourth generation Intel Haswell processor to run Windows 8.1 Pro. Despite the massive display, it’s thin, lightweight and Microsoft is positioning it as not just a tablet, but a full-fledged laptop replacement.
