Ahoy, me hearties! The long awaited and highly anticipated open-world pirate multiplayer game Skull and Bones is almost here! In a recent Ubisoft Forward Spotlight event, it was announced that Skull and Bones will be making its way into living rooms across the country on Tuesday, November 8, 2022!
Skull and Bones will release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, Amazon Luna and PC. There are no PS4 or Xbox One versions of the game.

Skull and Bones is inspired by the legendary tales around piracy and by one of the deadliest periods in history—the end of the 17th century. Developed by Ubisoft Singapore in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios around the world, Skull and Bones invites you to chart your own destiny and rise from an outcast to becoming a pirate kingpin. However, to do so, you’ll need to build your Infamy through breathtaking naval combat and gratifying expeditions.
Skull and Bones promises to offer the full authentic pirate life experience. You will see and do it all from accepting contracts, gathering resources, to navigating important trade routes and attacking wealthy merchant ships. Each decision you make influences your pirate journey, with a wide variety of levels of risk and reward.
And, as you grow your Infamy, you’ll be able to fully craft and customize your naval fleet and unlock a variety of new items throughout your adventure.
Single player or multiplayer fun with cross-play and cross-progression
In Skull and Bones, each journey is unique. You can expand your empire by joining forces with up to 2 other friends or players you encounter out at sea. Wither your playing on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia or PC you’ll be able to play with your friends and pick up right where you left off.
If you are up for the challenge, you can enable PVP. Here you’ll test your iron against up and coming kingpins, powerful organizations, local factions, or even rival pirates. You’ll never have to worry about running out of things to do. With a multi-year post-launch plan, the game will be regularly updated with new content, activities, stories and challenges that will be free for all players.
