Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and MĂ©lanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. With the rapidly changing gaming landscape thanks to new streaming options you may have recently changed where and when you play games.

I’m super excited about a potential future Nintendo Switch hardware revision! I love the games on the system but there are a couple more things I wish it could do!

I’m really excited about the new Pokémon sword and shield games from Nintendo! I grew up playing Pokémon red and blue so this brings back all the nostalgic energy!
I have the utmost excitement for the new Animal Crossing coming to the Switch by Nintendo. Animal Crossing is a world beyond our own, in ways that we couldn’t imagine. I am looking forward to this game because it gives an innovative perspective on in-game character relations with the player them self. I can’t wait to create new friendships, collect new bugs and fossils, fish new fish, and so much more in the game to come.
Borderlands 3 by Gearbox has me more excited than I have been in a long time. My brother and I played through the second one again recently just because of this announcement. Love the crazy loot and comical story line.
I’m excited for more details of Fire Emblem Three Houses and the Last of Us Part II.
Super pumped for Pokémon Sword and Shield! Started out with Pokémon Red and Blue 20 years ago and it’s amazing to see how far Pokemon has come. Game Freak and Nintendo haven’t let me down yet and I’m excited to see what’s coming next!
Pokemon today has me super excited, but overall I can’t wait to see Nintendo’s offering this year. We have a lot too look forward to in the next six months!

The announcement that has me most excited is Marvel’s Avengers by Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics!
My wife and I are huge fans of the cinematic universe and I have been following the comic universe for years. I have lost countless hours to the comics and Marvel wikis about the heroes. We collected and played a LOT of Disney Infinity, especially the Marvel expansions/missions.
We are both super excited to see what the AAA Studio can do with such an amazing universe.

I’m most excited for Forza Motorsport 8 and next-gen consoles. I’m a huge sim-racing fan and played all Forza’s and Gran Turismo’s! Turn 10 studios and Microsoft Games always deliver. Some Gears 5 gameplay would also be awesome. Of course there are the massive announcements that surprise everyone that I hope come from legendary developers Bethesda and Valve.

I’ve loved Nintendo games for such a long time I Used to play on my DSi XL and my wii it was so fun, I’m inspired by Super Mario Bro and Mario kart I always got to play it with my friends and have a fun experience playing it. for a while I’ve been wanting to get the nintendo switch to play with my friends with because a lot of my friends own a switch ! : )
Super excited for The Last of Us 2! Gaming has been a huge part of my life forever. I’m glad to see the gaming community open up to more female gamers/streamers. The public perception used to be that girls who gamed were weird, but now people think it’s as cool as I do!

Bioware hasn’t released any new information in a long time, and it is by far my favourite video game franchise of all time. I’m really interested in seeing what Star Wars – Jedi: Fallen Order is really about. Respawn has a ridiculous pedigree when it comes to redefining genre’s (see Titanfall and Apex Legends) and with the backing of EA we could see something that revitalizes the Star Wars video game franchises. Here’s hoping!

I can’t wait for Dying Light 2 by Techland and it’s zombie-filled, parkour-driven, post-apocalyptic world goodness!
I am just really looking forward to hearing more about the Halo franchise. The introduction of Halo and the original Xbox are what really turned me around and got me into gaming. Now that I’ve grown up and my kids are getting to a good age to get into some of these games, I’m looking forward to bring this around full circle and teach them the skills needed to dominate!

Most exited for “Dragon Age 4” or whatever final title it receive from EA and Bioware. I can’t count the hours I’ve spent on Origins, 2, Inquisition, and the books. Especially considering the way Inquisition ended. Can’t wait to see where Bioware’s last truly great franchise will lead.

The game Final Fantasy V11 Remake looks awesome in the preview video by PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The company that makes the game is Square Enix Co., LTD. They have a preview video on their site too.

Very excited about Death Stranding. First game after Kojima left Konami . I am glad his team has partnered with Sony . Excited and intrigued about the story and how it will pan out. Hands down most interesting announcement after Last of Us 2 and the ever elusive Cyberpunk !!!!!
I am probably most excited for Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt. It looks absolutely incredible and would be a new experience for sure! Not like any game I’ve played and I’m pretty excited for it.
Absolutely cannot wait for Nintendo’s official remake of Zelda: Link’s Awakening! Never got to play this game as a child, but can’t wait to play now on my Nintendo switch!
I love being able to relive my nostalgic childhood days and this game is going to do just that and so much more. With all the trailers out there, you can tell Activision has gone above and beyond to enhance the game while keeping all the original elements. The gameplay looks to be the same, but in gorgeous 1080pHD. I love the fact that they have added the element of customization. With the way Activision has developed this game, its gonna give Mario Kart a run for its money. I cant wait for June 21 to get a copy for both, my PS4 and Nintendo switch

The game I’m most excited about is “Borderlands 3” by Gearbox Softwares. I just started playing all Borderlands and can’t get enough of it. The graphics and story and gameplay are amazing! It’s also easy for new people to get addicted to, but every level has its challenges. I’d love to get the PlayStation 4 pack because I cannot afford it. Gaming kept me grounded and sane when I got very ill and bedridden. Plus it’d Be great to own a PlayStation again.
I’m really exited for the oculus quest. That product is almost revolutionary. Can’t wait to get one. But I need a ps4 so I can play with my friends.
I’m looking really forward to UBISOFT because their is a high chance they will announce a splinter cell game , it’s been years since the last instalment and I am a huge fan of the series. Really looking forward to all of the releases and announcements coming up
