Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. I’m mostly excited about Pokémon Sword and Shield announced by Game Freak for the Nintendo Switch. I’ve been a huge fan of Pokémon games ever since I was a little boy and I’m always excited to get to discover a new generation. Little problem though: I don’t own a Switch. I’ve already missed out on the release of Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee and would love to get my hands on Sword or Shield as well as a variety of Switch games I never got the chance to try out!

Most excited for Borderlands 3 by gearbox on PS4. Loved playing through the first two and the pre-sequel on PS3 with my friends online as well as the handsome jack collection on PS4.

I’m really excited for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, I’m a loyal fan of ghost recon. It’s the best tactical shooting game Ubisoft has release along with rainbow six but ever since I’ve moved to Canada my Xbox power brick from Hong Kong doesn’t work here and I couldn’t just buy a power brick from Microsoft so planning to have a PS4 so I could join back the console gang and play it with my friends.
Really excited for the new Pokémon. My brother and I played every Pokémon game imaginable. It’s such a nostalgic brand that anything Pokémon really brings me back.
I can’t wait to play Borderlands 3 by Gearbox. I’ve spent several hours with my friends playing the other ones when we were roommates and now that we live several hundred kilometres apart we still play from time to time and it’s always a great time!
Ubisoft announcing Ghost Recon Breakpoint got me very excited!

Super excited for the release of Pokemon Sword and Shield (as announced by Nintendo). Once i got word there was a new classic style Pokemon game coming to the switch, i instantly replayed Pokemon black, one of my favourites from the series. So many Pokemon memories from as a child and if i were to win the contest, I’d choose the Nintendo switch bundle and instantly pre-order Pokemon sword!
I am most excited for Borderlands 3 from Gearbox because my boyfriend and I have both the first and second game and we absolutely loved it.
I’m really hyped up for call of duty modern warfare, infinity ward and treyarch have had some really cool combos in the past with their zombies and multiplayer gamemodes which made me love call of duty so I hope they kill it with this one but I’m sure they will because modern warfare first edition was sick!!
I’m really excited for borderlands 3 from gearbox. My boyfriend introduced the borderlands games to me over the past year and I LOVE them. We always play through them together and bond over the game. We been so hyped for borderlands 3 we can’t stop talking about it. How can’t you be excited for a game that will have ONE BILLION GUNS!

I’m most excited about Square Enix’s Announcements at E3! I want to hear more about Final Fantasy 7 Remake as many fans including myself have been waiting for years! Perhaps this year is the year Square Enix will blow everyone away at E3 with a huge announcement!

Really excited for Death Stranding on PS4. It seemed like Kojima would never release it, but finally has a release date! The trailers for it are so quirky and strange, which is right up my alley. Not to mention Mads as one of the actors! With the newest trailer release, it has only increased my curiousity as to what the game holds in store for us!
Looking forward to The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (announced by Nintendo) Zelda has been one of me and my wife’s favourite games growing up and now my little boy is into Zelda – Mario etc and we don’t have a switch yet heard nothing but good things !

I am looking forward to play Pokémon Shield and Pokémon Sword created by Game Freak and distributed by Nintendo for the Switch console. I am excited to play Pokémon Sword and Shield because they are the first main series game introduced to the Switch console. As someone who remains stably loyal to the main series experience it is only natural that I’ll add these upcoming top sellers to my collection.
I’m looking forward to the release of Sony’s PS5. That was the very first TV console I ever had and I think it’s just such a great console. I can only imagine the capabilities of the next generation one.

My family and I are super excited for the new Pokémon Sword/Shield for the Nintendo Switch. I am a long time Pokémon player and can’t wait for their first platform mainstream game.
I’m most excited for Cyberpunk 2077 because I’ve been a massive fan of CD Projekt Red for as long as I can remember. The passion and love that they put into their games and worlds can’t be put into words and neither can my excitement for when that game comes out.
The Call of Duty Modern Warfare by Activision’s Infinity Ward Studio! One of the first game that I’ve played over and over again! Played It on pc before and I’ll play it on ps4 once it release! I can’t wait! October 25th please hurry! 😀

I’m most excited for Nintendo’s E3 Direct because they always throw in a big surprise that catches almost everyone off guard. The game That I would like to at least make an appearance, and I’d like to know more about during their E3 Direct is the Animal Crossing Switch game! Very Excited for Mario Maker 2 as well!
I’m very excited to see more information on Halo Infinite, however I’m even more excited to see what indie games or smaller projects are revealed. There’s always some diamonds in the rough that are totally worth checking out.

We are super excited for the release of the Sony PS5. We have thoroughly enjoyed the PS4. With years in between their releases, I can only imagine the features and technological advances. Faster, better and sharper!

Im excited for blizzards world of warcraft classic I loved the game but wasn’t around from the start so I think it will be an interesting experience.
xCloud service from Microsoft will be great. I can try out and play lots of great games without the upfront hardware costs!! But have the option to get the hardware for better graphics and less lag if I want.
This year, I’m very excited for the upcoming game Death Stranding developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. I’m very excited for this video game because I have been a big fan of the Metal Gear Solid franchise for a long time which is also made by Kojima Productions and Hideo Kojima is one of my favourite video game developers. My favourite video game genre is action and this game happens to be an action game, which makes me even more excited for it.
I was a bit of a lonely child and had a hard time making friends – gaming really helped me connect with others in a way that I felt comfortable with. Ever since I got my first chunky Nintendo DS, I’ve been a huge fan of the Animal Crossing series (it’s where I made my first online friend!) so I’m super excited for the new Animal Crossing by Nintendo for the switch!
