Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. Most excited for Gears of War 5 from Microsoft. This has been my favourite game franchise this the first one was released.
I am personally excited most for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The original game ( Final Fantasy 7) was the one of the first game my parents bought me. It was different than the other few games I had played prior to and just made me fall in love with it. I played that game easily over 500 hours during my childhood. It was a game I could play over and over again without ever getting bored of it. It got me into RPG’s and gaming in general so knowing it is being remade has made me quite excited. The Manufacturer of the game is Square Enix.
Honestly, I’m just exciting for any new title announcements. No new game this year caught my interest at all. Here’s to 2020!
I’m super excited about Pokémon Sword and Shield by Nintendo and TPC – it will probably look great on the Nintendo Switch. I’ve BEEN following Pokémon since a young age, and it honestly only has been amazing! I can’t wait to see how the gameplay will be, regardless of if I win!
I think I am most excited for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts.
Growing up loving Star Wars I’m hoping that this single player game will renew my love for Star Wars Games. If its half as good as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I’ll be happy.

I am waiting for a beautiful sequel to a game called Ori And The Will of The Wisps, a sequel to Ori And The Blind Forest. I logged 13 hours into this game before I complete it. The developers are Moon Studios, coming this year, I am so excited for this game. Ori And The Blind Forest was simply a masterpiece, so I believe this one will hit me in a beautiful place like the first one did. I am more excited than anything!
I am looking forward to see Sword and Shield Pokémon game by Nintendo Switch. I played 3DS Pokémon game and the game details are always lovely. It is exciting to see its announcement during E3.

I am very excited for the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare by Activision. This series of games are favourite, and allow me to blow off some steam after work. Knowing I can come home and do something relaxing is something I look forward to on most work days.

I am most excited about Nintendo’s newly announced The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. It’s set to be released later this year. This game is one of my favourite childhood games and the first game that I bought myself with my birthday money. I remember begging my parents for batteries on our Saturday morning grocery store trips so that I could continue to play it on my GameBoy. This is a nostalgic must purchase for me.
Tesla’s recent development that they will be able to run Unity games on their dashboard. It will be really cool to be able to play Cuphead in the car, would make road trips a lot more fun!!!
I was excited to hear about Stadia cloud gaming service by Google. The ability to stream games to all types of devices means it will be much easier to play anywhere with anyone since almost everyone has some google device. Although the new Stadia controller will be fun to try and I like that it connects directly to the cloud through wifi. Great new advances.

I am waiting for Oddworld: Soulstorm. I loved the original oddworld games and I think the world has waited too long for another one. So lets drink a can of Soulstorm Brew and kick some Glukkon butts

I’m most excited for the WoW Classic release date announcement. The date is later than most would have liked, but just knowing has me excited. Blizzard put it off far too long but at least now we can see an actual comparison of player’s preferences between BfA and Classic.
I’m super excited for the new Pokémon games to come out! I remember playing the originals for hours at a time on the gameboy. Nintendo anyways does a good job on their original games and I hope they continue to keep up that trend with the release of Pokémon sword and shield!

I’m most excited for *possibly* Last of Us 2 coming out this year – expecting a release date at E3! The first one was so fantastic from the story, to character development, world building and combat style. This is the game that essentially motivated me into pursuing a career in video game development and has garnered my respect as the greatest game of all time. I am more than excited to see what Naughty Dog is capable of achieving this time, but more importantly, I need to see Joel sing and play the guitar.

I am excited for the Final Fantasy VII Remake game by Square Enix and Call of Duty Modern Warfare by Activision. Both of these games are my husbands and sons favourite games that they love to play weather together or on their own. It is their bonding time lol.
I can’t wait for Borderlands 3 to come out for the Xbox One, gearbox and 2k have done an amazing job on Borderlands, Borderlands 2, and The Pre Sequel, but from the release trailer and just years of playing the previous games, Borderlands 3 looks like at least another year of fun gameplay if not more, 2k always adds so many DLCs and just extends the game beyond its reach and I can’t wait for it

I am super exited to hear the release of dying light 2, me and a group of friends have had an amazing time with the first game. Pouring hundreds of hours into the game myself trying to master the movements and fighting mechanics has gotten me super exited to see the improvements and new features in the new game. I’m definitely most excited for more information about Call of duty Modern warfare by Infinity Ward – Activision as I have loved and been playing Call of Duty since CoD4 and so this game is going to have a lot of nostalgia plus from what we’ve heard so far it’s going to be running on a new engine which will also be really awesome!

I am very excited to gear that The Last of Us Part II is coming. I remember when I was 13 and couldn’t afford a PS4 so all I could do was watch the youtube walkthroughs. I still remember the excitement I got from watching people play and now, to actually have a chance to play it, is simply a dream come true

The announcement that has me the most excited is for the Final Fantasy VII remake on the PS4 by Square Enix. I loved this game since I first played it and when I saw the first trailer for the remake I was so excited. And the latest trailer is even better.
I’m really looking forward to the new halo game on Xbox One by 343 industries. I remember when my brother and I would play halo 1 & 2 all night long together. He never got to see halo 3 or any of the others but I still play the new ones because it takes me back to better times
Any Super Mario game. Watching my 7 yr old play and get excited about gaming reminds me of when I was younger playing games with my brothers. Winning a prize pack would put a huge smile on his face and totally make his day!!

I am most excited about Call of Duty- MODERN WARFARE. It was announced by Activision 5 days ago!
This is means a lot to me because I was 16 years old and in grade 11 when COD MWF was first released. I tried to to explain to my friends that we all should buy it, but they laughed at me!! ( by this time COD, really only did WW2 games and my friends were tired of the storyline ) I insisted and explain how it was MODERN WARFARE!! They insisted on some Tom Clancy Rainbow six game. Low and behold I bought the game the rest was history. MDWF was an historic game and it too over the gaming world. Friends finally had seen sense and bought the game. We made our clan tags and went into the world to take it over . It was the funniest time of my life.
I am 28 years old now. Maybe with the reboot of COD MWF, I can call up my old friends who moved away and got married… Maybe we can be kids again…Thank you!
The gaming announcement that has me most excited is Borderlands 3 and scheduled to be released in 2019. The manufacturer is 2K. Borderlands 3 is a game and I played both Borderlands 1 and 2 on the PS4. I enjoyed the playing this series so much, I will be playing Borderlands 3 as well.
