Many years ago, when my children were younger, I bought a projector to use as the main display in my basement home theatre. I was shocked that it never stayed in one place: my wife would move it to the bedroom to watch a movie when she was sick in bed, my kids would move it to their bedrooms for sleepovers, and I even took it to work a couple times for presentations. That’s something you certainly can’t say about a television. Rarely a day went by that it was not used for movies, gaming, work and more.

I already use a BenqQ projector in my home theatre. One of the best features of the projectors is automatic detection of source. I would like to have a second unit for use outside at family events as we spend most times outdoors. Great for kids to watch movies while enjoying the night instead cooped up indoors.

Having another Benq projector would enable our arts actions further than with the 1 we currently own. We would be able to make more projections with community members and engage further than we currently do. With multiple projectors we could layer effect performances or make immersive media arts environments.
