Many years ago, when my children were younger, I bought a projector to use as the main display in my basement home theatre. I was shocked that it never stayed in one place: my wife would move it to the bedroom to watch a movie when she was sick in bed, my kids would move it to their bedrooms for sleepovers, and I even took it to work a couple times for presentations. That’s something you certainly can’t say about a television. Rarely a day went by that it was not used for movies, gaming, work and more.

My favorite feature is projected a massive image with amazing clarity
I would use this in the rec room.
“Virtually no set up required” is what I think is the best feature!

The BenQ’s portability is my favorite feature.
I would install it in our family games area – for movies and gaming. I would be great to have a larger screen so that the kids and I do not have to crowd the TV to game.
I designed our home to be sunny and bright but this can interfere with optimal viewing – I love that it can be used in a brighter room.

I’ve never had one but I love projectors because they seem stronger, projectors look a lot harder to break than a brittle tv if the two were to drop accidentally. They look easy to move around just by placing projector screen anywhere whereas the tv you have to do heavy lifting and placing carefully. They can be used anywhere for anything like presentations for business, home movie theatre, classroom lectures, etc. I want one.
