If you love great movies (and of course, we all do!), then you’ll love them even more in beautiful 4K UHD (ultra high definition)! With hundreds of amazing titles already available, and more coming almost daily, 4K UHD represents the next generation of excellence in in-home entertainment. But what equipment do you need to be able to watch these films? Read on for full details.

 

4K Checklist: What You Need

Since these 4K UHD Blu-Ray discs can’t be played on traditional Blu-Ray players, the following list shows everything you’ll need to be able to enjoy these discs:

* One 4K UHD Blu-Ray Player (such as the Sony model discussed below)

* One 4K UHD compatible TV

* The 4K movie discs you wish to enjoy in beautiful Ultra HD

 

Great 4K Movie Titles

Speaking of those 4K movie discs, lets take a look at some of the popular titles that are currently available at Best Buy (or are at least available for pre-order). Among the blockbusters you can choose from are Blade Runner 2049, Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, THOR: Ragnarok, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Daddy’s Home 2, just to name a few. Several more titles will also soon be available, so now’s the time to start thinking about what you might like to have in your 4K movie library. A few possible suggestions for how to go about organizing your wish list are by alphabetical order, by film genre, or simply by choosing your favourite movies.

 

4K Players

There are essentially 3 different things you’ll need to be able to enjoy these new 4K UHD films to the fullest: a 4K Blu-Ray player, a 4K TV, and a compatible sound system that’s worthy of the high quality output of these discs.
