You can enter this contest right here on the blog. You can enter only once by telling us in a comment where you would most want to place a camera (outdoors or indoors) and why. You may want both, but to be eligible to win you must choose either an outdoor location or an indoor location and discuss your choice in a comment below.

What you can win

We will randomly choose 6 winners from all eligible entries: 3 will win a D-Link Wi-Fi Outdoor 180 Degree HD Camera, and 3 will win a D-Link Wi-Fi Indoor 180 Degree HD Camera. We will try to ensure that the winners get the type of camera they requested in their comment; however, since the draw is random that may not be possible.

  2. I’d put in indoor looking at the front door area. It would be very useful to see who’s coming in. I already have security cameras outside, but none indoors.

  11. Really need this just in 2017 our barn has been broken into 3 times! Not sure if it’s a neighbourhood kid or someone else would like to have more proof for the police than just the broken locks. The whole purpose of the camera’s were to keep a eye on my dog well we were out just to make sure he is okay.   27. I would place a camera just above the garage in the front. This way I could catch any suspicions characters around the neighborhood, coming onto my property, or “prowling” vehicles.

  28. We would definitely put a camera on our back deck. It always bothers me when our dog growls once in a while at night while looking at the door. It is very dark on that side of the house and I would feel much better if there was a camera or a light that I could check from inside.   50. There are a lot of burgluries and thefts and we have had items stolen from our yard and shop and license plates stolen as well, so having an outdoor security camera would be so helpful for our peace of mind and feeling of safety.
