Speaking of something special, this holiday season we’ve seen a bumper crop of new tablets from HP, ASUS, Acer and Microsoft. The HP Stream for instance is a new very reasonably priced tablet. It includes a 1 year subscription to Office 365 Personal too, and you get nice bonus services like 1TB of OneDrive storage and 60 international Skype minutes every month. There’s never been more choice or features in such small devices for Canadians.
There are also very cool new accessories to go along with new tablets. Like the Microsoft Wireless Display Adaptor. It connects into the HDMI port on your HDTV screen and is USB powered so you don’t need a separate power source. You pair it with any Windows 8.1 or Android 4.2.1 (or later) device and instantly share your tablet or 2-in-1 desktop with your HDTV screen. Imagine the whole family watching Netflix, playing Halo Spartan Assault, or having a Skype call with the grandparents on the other side of the globe!
