The wait is finally over! Sony’s highly-anticipated virtual reality headset, PlayStation VR, coming out on October 13. I’ll have a full review of the VR device coming soon, so stay tuned. This month also marks the launch of two huge first-person shooter games with the arrival of Battlefield 1, taking us into the visceral all-out combat of World War I, and Titanfall 2, which is coming to PlayStation gamers for the very first time. Mafia III

Release Date: October 7, 2016

Paper Mario: Color Splash

Find Paper Mario in a very special island where all the colours are being sucked away by mischievous Shy Guys. With his hammer, Paper Mario can bring colours back to Prism Island and save his Toad friends at the same time. In the turn-based fights, you’ll use a collection of cards to launch over-the-top attacks.

Gears of War 4

With Gears of War 4, it’s time to meet the next generation. Marcus Fenix hands the baton to his son JD, who must contend with a new threat on Sera 25 years after the end of the war against the Locust. In addtion to a full campaign, the fan-favourite Gears multiplayer is back, and this time several modes have been added to classics like Deathmatch, King of the Hill, Guardian, Warzone and Execution.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration

A year since Rise of the Tomb Raider appeared on Xbox One, now PlayStation 4 fan can experience this breathtaking adventure. The wait was worth it because for this special 20th anniversary edition, all downloadable content is included in the package. In addition, an all-new chapter called “Blood Ties”, Lara returns to her childhood home to search for her father’s missing will in an immersive PlayStation VR experience! World of Final Fantasy

This new entry in the acclaimed Final Fantasy series introduces us to two brand new sibling heroes. The brother and sister are monster tamers out to recover lost fragments of their past memories. The title also introduces us to an all-new battle system where you can use captured monsters to create powerful towers of monsters to fight foes. Rather intriguing, don’t you think?

Titanfall 2

After offering us a multiplayer game exclusively on Microsoft’s consoles, Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 will be bringing PlayStation 4 gamers into the fold.
