From Gearbox Software and 2K Games, makers of Borderlands, comes the brand new first-person “hero” shooter Battleborn. I had a chance to try this game at last year’s E3 and had an absolute blast playing 5-player co-operative missions. There are 25 vastly different characters you can play as, each with their own backstories, unique weapons, and special powers. In addition to the online co-operative mode, Battleborn features three distinct team-based competitive multiplayer modes, and you can enjoy the Story Mode solo, or play through it co-operatively with friends. This is a game Borderlands and MOBA fans are sure to love.
Are you ready? The epic conclusion to Nathan Drake’s treasure-hunting saga, Uncharted 4, has nearly arrived! Arguably the most-anticipated PlayStation 4 game of all time, Uncharted 4 will take you around the world on an edge-of-year-seat adventure to uncover the long-forgotten secrets of legendary pirates. Featuring ultra-realistic graphics, griping gameplay, and an all-star cast lead by Nolan North, this is a cinematic experience like no other. For the competitive type, Uncharted 4 brings back online multiplayer, now with new elements like supernatural power-ups, and NPC side-kicks to help you and your team along.
id Software and Bethesda are going back to basics with the Doom reboot on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Doom is one of the most influential first-person shooters of all time, and in this latest iteration you’ll once again have to contend with the twisted and tormented demons of hell. Classic Doom multiplayer deathmatch returns, complete with signature weapons like the chainsaw and BFG 9000, along with all-new melee attacks that will let you kick, smash, slash, and crush your opponents.

Jump into the world of Overwatch, Blizzard Entertainment’s highly anticipated team-based shooter filled with larger-than-life characters and intense 6v6 combat. Overwatch is set in a near-future version of Earth where robotic uprising was quashed by an elite international task force named “Overwatch.” The diverse cast of playable characters ranges from warriors, to scientists, to robots, to oddities, and each combatant has their own personality, fighting skills, and abilities. A range of multiplayer modes are included, including Assault missions where the objective is to capture critical targets, Escort missions revolving around transporting a payload to a delivery point, and more.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan
Join Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Leonardo, on an all-new chapter in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle history. Developed by Platinum Games, makers of last year’s incredible Transformers Devastation, this latest TMNT adventure features gorgeous, stylized cel-shaded graphics and 4-player online co-op. Choose your favourite Ninja Turtle and battle through the streets, subways, and sewers of New York City on a quest to take down Shredder and Krang’s evil organization.
