Halo Infinite launch date announced

At gamescom Opening Night Live, the long awaited release date for Halo Infinite has finally been revealed. In addition to the announcement of a December 8 launch, Xbox and 343 Industries revealed two limited edition pieces of hardware to celebrate Halo’s 20th anniversary. The Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox Series X Bundle and the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 will both launch on November 15, 2021.

Halo Infinite to launch December 8, 2021

With a year long delay, the wait to play Halo Infinite has been a struggle. However, you won’t have to wait much longer! You’ll be able to get your hands on the game come December 8, 2021 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. And, the game will be split up into two parts, the campaign and a free-to-play multiplayer mode.

Limited Edition Xbox Series X

The Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox Series X’s design is inspired by the Halo universe. It is wrapped with dark metallic paneling accented by iridium gold. Above the armour there is a custom star pattern that extends to the top of the console and onto the fan. Below the stars, the top vent is accented in Cortana-themed blue.

Furthermore, the console powers on and off with custom Halo-themed sounds. Additionally, the included controller features a matching design on the front, an iridium gold 20-year mark on the back, as well as side-and-back grips to accommodate all play styles. Limited Edition Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2

Halo fans have more to be excited about! The Halo Infinite Limited Edition Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is coming! And, this highly customizable controller is inspired by Master Chief’s armour. Additionally, it features a battle-worn, matte metallic green with an iridium gold D-pad. Moreover, it comes with swappable components and a custom carrying case emblazoned with the iconic UNSC insignia.

For ultimate precision, you can use the included custom thumbstick tension adjustment tool. And, when you’re not using the controller, you can keep it charged with the included laser-etched charging dock or the custom charging cable. Finally, when you buy the limited edition controller, you get an exclusive in-game Halo Elite controller weapon charm. This special limited edition controller will launch November 15, 2021.
