A whole new Guitar Hero!
Guitar Hero Live will be the the first game in the franchise since Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, which was released in 2010. This game is set to introduce some major changes to the series, including a new guitar controller with a 6 button layout, a much more realistic in game style which will help simulate a real world concert atmosphere and the all new Guitar Hero TV mode. The new Guitar Hero TV mode will help introduce you to new songs via themed shows and will also serve as part of the multiplayer element in the game.

Rock Band is going back to basics.
Rock Band 4 will be Harmonix’s first game in the Rock Band series in over 3 years. Rock Band 4 is set to focus on the core gameplay elements, whereas the previous instalment had more of a focus on social interactions. The game will not only play similar to previous instalments in the Rock Band series but it will also be backwards compatible with all the previous instruments and song packs.
