How to enter our Play at Best Buy contest

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. From May 20th to June 30th, in a comment below this article, tell us what gaming gear that is available at Best Buy you would like to get, and how it would improve your gaming experience; you must include the link to that product from the Best Buy website in your comment. 
  2. From June 3rd to June 30th, Best Buy will hide a coin (like the one you see here) somewhere on the Play at Best Buy event page;  click on that coin to reveal a secret code located somewhere on the next page. Once you have the code, email it to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with “Play at Best Buy Contest” in the subject. Do not post the code in a comment on the blog. Each Friday during June (for a total of four Fridays) the Best Buy team will place the coin in a new location on the Play at Best Buy event page and clicking on it will lead you to a new secret code that you can then email to the blog team for an additional contest entry. That means you can enter four times by emailing those four unique codes. Make sure to come back to this contest and send each week’s unique code to our email address for the best chance to win! 

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will randomly draw 8 winners from all eligible entries posted on the blog (in English and French) and sent via email; each will receive one of the prize packages listed here: Xbox Series S package, Nintendo Switch OLED package, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition package, Samsung Smart TV, Meta Quest 2, Razer package, HyperX package, and Corsair package.

  23. As someone who started their love of video games with the Nintendo 64, I’ve seen many improvements in both graphical fidelity and gameplay innovation with each new generation . When I was a kid, I was so excited when a new console was announced because it signaled the coming of a new wave of technology that would change the way that we all would play games.   41. im so glag for this opportunity to win one of these great prizes! i want to win the Xbox Series S, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 12-month membership, and Turtle Beach becuase my son had a fire 3 nights before christmas and lost everything he owned and all the gifts he had for everyone. he lost it all so i know that if i won this amazing prize he would be a happy new man again. at least being able to play some games and get serious things off your mind is good like meditation. i want this to happen so i can see some happiness so fingers crossed i hope i win this to give it to my son to see him happy again.

    The Nintendo SWITCH OLED would definitely improve my family’s gaming experience. We are currently playing on a Nintendo Wii, that my grandma (in her 80’s) gave us. When Wii Fit came out all of her coffee group was talking about it and how it could improve her balance. She bought a system without the balance board and games and was confused. So it sat in her storage room for years until she gave it to us.
