Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

    Wow! When you didn’t think TVs couldn’t get any better Samsung keeps on surprising you. The Sasunmg Q900T QLED 32K contrast is something you think you could only dream of with the incredible, eye catching, crystal clear picture with over 33 million pixels. Google home has always been helpful throughout my but Samsung Smart TV has bixby hand free control. This would be incredibly helpful to me because I have SEVERE arthritis throughout my whole body, especially in my wrists, hands & fingers. I sometimes have to go HOURS without changing the channel because my hands are so flared, swollen & extremely painful to be able to push the buttons & use the controller. The ambient mode that Samsung has is like nothing else out there. it would be absolutely fascinating & incredible to see. Who ever thought that your TV would become a piece of art.
    I think a lot of people are not taking the time to read everything great about the different TVs. I think a lot are just re reading people’s comments and making a comment to ente from that. That’s not fair to those of use who are doing the reading and really describing our favorite TV choices & why. I guess there’s always going to be people that can’t FULLY follow rules

  6. I’m excited about Samsungs 8k clarity. Currently we have a rear projection TV, seeing what TV really looks like would be awesome. The Samsung 98″ 8K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN98Q900RBFXZC) looks like the biggest TV any room that has a movie theatre size would be super cool. Go big or go home! Well I guess with a TV that size you’d want to stay home.

  15. I love the LG NanoCell technology as it will give me the brighter colour, and contrast that I would love. The Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos will adjust the lighting and sound to my enviroment. The Premium LG NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED webos Smart TV sounds great.

    I would LOVE to win and own the Sony A8H 65″ & have it hanging on my wall. The OLED TRILUMINOS Display with Super Bit Mapping & sound quality would be amazing and eye catching for watching movies, sports and gaming. Having the built-in google assistant would be extremely helpful for me to have because I have severe arthritis through my whole body. In every joint, especially my wrist, hands & fingers. My brother has had a Bravia for years and has never had a problem with it. So I know it’s a top quality, built to last, stunning picture & sound TV. Plus it being an android is an added bonus because that’s what I’m used to with my cell phone and I also have google home.

  17. Very impressed with the LG Gallery model 4K UHD HDR OLED webOS with AI Picture Pro and AI Sound Pro! The model I like best is OLED65GXPUA. OLED pixels emit their own light! Would love to see movies the way they were meant to be viewed and sports as though you were “right there”.

    My favourite on the BestBuy site would have to be the Samsung 98′ 8K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart Tv. Wayyy out of my budget but still my top pick. How mesmerizing would it be to have a screen that size in my livingroom.

Would be hard to choose between the 3 models given they all have such great features.

Sound is so important to me at my age. The clear and sharper it is the better it is for my enjoyment. Also the brightness adjustments according to the light in the room. We have a large picture window t the front of our house and the sun shines right through on the TV.

The Dual Subwoofers integrated into the rear of the TV sound amazing and I believe from what it stated, ie. “you’ll hear more dynamic, bass-heavy sound, which makes it perfect for action movies, gaming and music. Sony A8H is truly picture and sound in perfect harmony”, I will hear everything so much more clearer. Now I find the voices sound muffled to some extent on my TV, older Samsung and other brands. It is not my hearing, so has to be the TV itself.

  30. The new technology by Samsung that has me the most excited this year is the 8K Resolution. I couldn’t imagine that there was a more lifelike image than 4K but but I guess Samsung has done it with 8K .
    My favourite Samsung TV on the Best Buy website is the Samsung 55″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV because of its stunning picture and it is the right size for my space.
