Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

    My favourite Sony TV on the Best Buy website is the Sony 55″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV because it is the right size for my family room and its brilliance makes the screen come to life.

  6. I really love The Serif has a sculptural I-beam design. I have a small space but like to change it up. This would make things look great in any way I change things around. It’s the best-looking television since cabinets televisions. lol

  12. My family room has a large bare wall I could def use an OLED Display for Colour Tech LG 77″ 4K UHD HDR OLED WebOS Smart TV (OLED77CXPUA). They all offer great quality and design.

  13. For the LG I love the 20Hz refresh rate delivers smooth images without blurs and streaks, especially during fast-paced action sequences and sports. My husband loves to watch sports so this sounds like it would be amazing.

For Samsung I love the Powered by Quantum Processor 4K, it runs Tizen operating system with pre-loaded Apple TV, Google Play, Netflix, Prime, Cineplex, Crave, UFC, DAZN, TVA Sports apps for access to online streaming content. I currently own a Samsung but it is so old I am unable to access the Smart apps they no longer support them for my TV which is very frustrating hopefully the new TV would solve this.

For Sony brand I love the Ambient Optimization technology automatically adjusts picture and sound to suit your environment because my current television always makes everything vibrate drives me crazy hopefully this would help fix that. Had a Sony Bravia TV for many years they have great products.

  40. Wow, I had no idea that TV’s had improved so much over the past few years. Just amazing. All models, but for me, give size and quality, I would select the Samsung 65″ 8K Tizen model. Funny, but I love the stand and the fact that such a dominating object in the room can blend in by becoming a piece of art when we are not watching TV during the day. Brilliant idea.
