Roland FP-10 KeyboardHoliday music is in the air, and many people will be creating their own using a Roland instrument. Roland keyboards and synths are used by professsional, amateur, and beginner musicians around the globe. You probably didn’t even know you could buy them at Best Buy. You can! And someone will win a brand new Roland FP-10 88 Key Weighted Action Digital PianoΒ in this contestβ€”just in time to play Jingle Bells with all in your social bubble, or on a video chat with the whole family singing along, Brady Bunch style!

Christmas music creates lifelong memories

My best holiday memories involve music. When I was a young lad, my mom would be on the piano all the time. She is a very talented keyboardist and piano teacher, so homemade holiday tunes were a non-stop part of my upbringing. As I grew up, my brothers and I played music together almost every day. Most of my holiday memories, therefore, involve playing holiday songs with my family at home, in church, and many other places.

Many people are creating those musical memories using Roland instruments. Even though I play guitar, I still use Roland tech in the form of Boss effects pedals (Boss is a division of Roland). This contest gives you an opportunity to bring Roland into your home just in time for Christmas!

Roland FP-10 Keyboards are more than just a digital piano

Digital pianos have come a long way, and Roland has been at the forefront of their evolution. The FP-10 is a great example of what you can expect from a premium Roland digital instrument. Piano purists might insist on having an acoustic instrument in their homeβ€”and that’s fine. However, many people prefer the consistency, versatility, and portability of a digital instrument: especially one like the FP-10 that very closely approximates the feel and tone of an acoustic.

We sent one of these digital pianos to Nikolai for anΒ honest review. Watch his video and read his review to understand why he really liked this instrument.

Are you ready to gather around this piano with your family social bubble (and/or gather virtually on MS Teams or Zoom) for a holiday singalong? Carefully read the rest of this article for your chance to win.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy, and you can enter once below this article and once below Nikolai’s review of this piano. In a comment, tell us who in your home will get the most use of this piano (first name only) and what holiday song you hope they will play first.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select one winner to receive a new Roland FP-10 88-Key Weighted Action Digital Piano.

  1. My boyfriend Rom would love to play and produce music with this keyboard! I hope he plays White Christmas by Frank Sinatra!

  2. Hello BestBuy Canada!

My dad Michel is currently learning piano, and I’m sure he will use the piano quite often. My mom used to play piano when we had one, but unfortunately, she had to sell it. Now she teaches my dad how to play, but clearly, they need a new one (poor condition).

    Thanks.

  3. I know I would love to brush up my skills and play with my granddaughter Caylee. Great entertainment since we are trying our best to stay at home and find new sources of entertainment and learn new skills.

  4. I grew up playing piano and have been looking for a weighted keyboard to get back into it! Would love to play “The Christmas Song” by Nat King Cole, one of my favourites.

  5. My son would get the most use out of the digital piano. Being the holiday season, he’d probably play Jingle Bells.

  8. I have always dreamt of buying a keyboard and taking the time to learn how to play it. My grandmother who has not been with us now for about 10 years used to play the piano for me while I sat on her lap. I never truly had the chance to say goodbye to her and have always wanted to honour her by learning to play as beautifully as she did for me when I was younger.

  9. Myself and my mom have been wanting to learn piano and this is the perfect opportunity as music is the perfect way to have fun in these hard times, i have never had a piano before and this would be a great way to peruse something i have always wanted to try out!

  12. Not in my household, but I think my father would love to have this (Jack). For a song – maybe The First Noel!

  13. I believe my son will be the one to use this the most. He loves playing the piano and I’m hoping he will play me Silent Night with his sister singing. That would be a wonderful Christmas gift to me!

  14. This would be a good gift for my son Kian. He did want a piano after seeing a picture of me playing when I was little, but since the rough start to the year I haven’t had a chance to get him one. Jingle Bells would be the easiest for him to play if he does win this.

Thanks for your consideration, and good luck to everyone.

  15. 1. I’ve wanted to learn how to play piano for the longest time, and also learn with my daughter
    2. Gotta be Jingle Bells

  16. I’m learning how to play the piano so this would allow me to practice at home instead of a practice room. So I will be the one using it the most. I would learn You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch first.

  17. I have been missing out on a nice set of keys for a while and would love to get back into it. Ode to Joy was one of the first songs I learned and I loved playing it. I’ll be re-learning it for sure. I should thank my mother for getting me started with lessons when I was just 5. Out of all the hobbies I picked up and left behind, piano was definitely the most special, for myself and everyone I played for.

  18. Actually I, Mihaly, will because I’ve really want to learn and having a digital piano would be just about perfect right now. My holiday song would be the theme to The Legend of Zelda (that counts right ;)).

  19. I hope my daughter Sophie will play Jingle Bells. She’s a bit of a beginner so it will have to be an easy one for now!

  20. I would love to win this Roland FP10 digital piano for myself. The name Roland is synonymous to quality piano. Being confined during the quarantine I would turn it on And learn how to plan Jingle Bell for the family.

  21. I’ll learn to play the piano with my friend Melissa and play we wish you a Merry Christmas for the holiday.

  22. My Daughter Brianna. I would love to hear her play ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ watching Meet me in St.Louis is a Christmas staple in our home.

  23. Definitely my wife, Mariany.
“It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” will be her go-to song this holiday πŸ™‚

  24. I would get the most use of this! (As I currently live alone)
I used to play piano for many years when I was younger. Skipped 2 piano grade levels and had some talent with the instrument. I was a kid and was more interested in videogaming however, so I lost touch with my piano skills. This seems perfect for my apartment space, and would be absolutely amazing to reconnect with an old talent of mine during lockdown!
