Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.

Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips

How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.

Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.

Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools

We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.

For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

  1. I am retired so I am able to spend up to 45 minutes showering, shaving and nails etc. Feels good.

  2. Personal hygiene is important, but so is intake, elimination, exercising and meditation. All together, I take a good 120 minutes a day. Certainly could be trimmed to an efficient 90, but that could sacrifice a relaxed stomach or focussed attitude. The body is the best vehicle we own. Might as well keep it in pristine condition.

  3. About 10 minutes. May answer, enough time. Wife’s answer will be i need more time…

  4. My husband spends for a couple of minutes. He needs to spend more time on himself .

  5. I spend about 30 minutes on myself,, on a work day… which is more then enough time to make myself presentable…. non work days … who knows

  6. On average, at least 15 mins a day, but that could be less with the right “tools”; in other words, probably too much time.

  7. I would say 20 minutes is ideal but depending on the grooming, more time at be needed.

  8. Around half an hour, i would like to add another half an hour to my self-care routine

  9. I spend an average of 10 minutes per day on shaving and grooming. I think that is too much time: Electric shavers need to become more efficient.

    • About 30 mins. 15 in the morning. 15 at night.

Can’t look too bad even through the social distancing times.

  11. I probably average 45 minutes a day. Especially since I bought a led lit three way cosmetic mirror. With diminishing vision, I all of a sudden find I have some catching up to do in cosmetics and facial treatments. I need a great toothbrush to turn over a new leaf brightening my teeth since I quit smoking tobacco.

  12. I spend 45 minutes and that’s enough. I developed efficient steps to achieve the most within shorter period of time. BTW, I am am old user of Philips groomers and shavers, they save you both time and money. HIgh standard result is the added touch.

  13. I believe it’s almost under 20 minutes. I think it’s consuming a decent amount of time in the morning before I got to work. I could really cut down time using Phillip’s products. Hope I win the contest.

  14. I spend less than 15 minutes on myself per day. I dont believe thats enough but in this quarantine time, there is no where to go and nothing to do

  15. I try to average an hour a day for me. It wasn’t always this way though, but now that the kids are grown, I’m making up for it. I think it’s important and just enough me time.

  16. I don’t spend nearly enough me time but on average I would say 15 – 20 mins a day

  17. I am retired so I have more time to spend on myself. Now if I feel the need to take an extra hour or two I can. Usually, I take an hour or two to get ready to face the day.

  18. I only spend 3 minutes in the morning and 3 min at night. I don’t think its enough there are some things I want to add.

  19. I will guess about 15 minutes. I would like more time but it is a matter of all the other things I make more of a priority.
