Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.

Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips

How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.

Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.

Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools

We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.

For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will select 6 winners. One will receive a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush, 2 will review Philips Total Boday Shave and Trim,  and 3 will receive a Philips Shaver 6000.

This contest runs from May 1st to May 17th.

Remember you can only enter once. However, you probably know someone else who could use a few more minutes of “me time” and would love a chance to win a Philips prize so share this contest with them.

  1. I try to spend at least 15 minutes in the morning on myself and in the evening before bedtime about 10 minutes.

  2. Currently, I spend approximately 45 minutes each day. I am always looking to try new products to make my life easier !

  3. I spend about 35 minutes a day between, mouth care and face care, trimming etc. I really try not to cut corners so to speak. In these challenging times , self grooming is very important. These are times to test the mettle of us all. Stay healthy and stay safe.

  4. I spend about 15 minutes a day, which is just fine for me on most days!! On a day where I need a little extra I will book a massage apt!

  5. I would spent between 45 to 60 minutes on myself with of course some music in the background.

  6. I spend about an hour on myself in the morning. Half an hour of this time is devoted to meditation & journal-writing. The second part of the hour is used for grooming. I’d like to increase this block of time by fifteen minutes to include stretching 🙂

  7. I sport a short beard and take about 30 mins trimming and shape it weekly before a shower.
However, daily about 5-7 mins making sure I’m groomed well. I think it is more than enough time.

  8. It varies but averages out to maybe 30 minutes. I should take more.Self care is important to quality of life and wellness.

  9. On average I spend about 10 minutes per day on myself. I know thats not enough, but its get me by when i need to.

  10. I spend about an hour a day on myself, most of that is walking for exercise and the rest in grooming…seems right for me.

  11. 30 minutes to 2 hours a day . Seems about right.. even better when it’s closer to 2 hours – as that means I’ve done my exercise for the day.

  12. I haven’t needed to spend as much time as I usually do, given COVID and working from home. I’d say 20 mins and that’s a good amount!

  13. As a woman it depends on what you are doing and what you are wearing lol. Shorts on a summers day obviously requires more daily minutes as compared to sweats on a winters day – haha. Good luck all!

  14. I spent around 60-120 minutes on myself. I think this is enough but some days I feel like I need more.

  15. I don’t honestly know how much time I spend on myself daily. Some days it is just enough and more often it isn’t enough at all. I don’t think I ever spend more than necessary.

  16. I don’t spend enough time on myself. Usually, 20 mins to get ready and IFFF I can fit a work out in about 1 hour, but that’s a big IF. I think I should be spending more time on myself, taking care of my skin as it would make me feel better about it.

  17. I spend about 45 minutes to shower, fix makeup and hair. That always seems adequate for my lifestyle. Any more time wasted on such activities would take away from other activities that I routinely enjoy!

  18. Je passe environ 3 à 4 heures par jour pour me détendre et faire les choses que j’aime

  19. probably less than 15 minutes. not enough time at all. but probably a bit more lately given there is not much else to do.
