As an interior stylist I am always on the hunt for something new, the hottest trends, and new places to shop. I was recently thrilled to discover that my favourite destination for technology, toys and appliances, Best Buy, now has a full line up of home décor items. From living room furniture to patio must haves, bestbuy.ca has become a one stop shop for all things home.

And here’s the best part, they are carrying so many of my “go-to” brands including South Shore (I’ve been writing about this line for years!), Lane and Fine Art Lighting.  Shopping online has never been easier and Bestbuy.ca provides free delivery and 30-day hassle free returns. While there is something for everyone at bestbuy.ca, I’ve scoured the site to bring you my top 10 favourite things.

My Top 10 Finds at Bestbuy.ca

erica.jpg
  1. The Erica Accent Chair Collection: Transitional Nailhead Tight Top Accent Chair, Available in 5 Colours. Accent chairs are a must have for every living space and with the Erica Accent Chair you have the option of adding a pop of colour to your home.

  1. Speaking of accent chairs if you are looking to add a touch of mid-century modern to your space, think about bringing in the Lane Accent chair in camel. The retro leg styling is chic and would even impress Don Draper (I couldn’t resist throwing in one Mad Men reference!)
cor.jpg
  1. Keep that modern vibe going throughout the summer months with the ultra chic Cor-Living Seattle 5-piece Deep Seating Patio Conversation set. This set looks like it’s fresh from a fabulous South Beach hotel and will “up” any exterior spaces game.

  1. If your outdoor space is a little on the small side, think about channeling a café in Italy with the bright and punchy Nardi Caffe Regina Chair and Werzalit Round Table Set. I’m getting this one for my patio and plan to dress it up with a few accompanying topiary trees.
fire pit.jpg
  1. Don’t forget the new outdoor “essential” when you are styling your backyard—the fire bowl or pit! Bestbuy.ca has an amazing selection of fire bowls and pits, including this super affordable and stylish square gel fire bowl at an extremely reasonable price.

  1. Summer is a great time to renovate and what a better time than now to revisit your master bedroom. I adore the Davis Master Bedroom collection. It’s available in 3 finishes, and the white has such a nice Cape Cod feel. What I love about Bestbuy.ca is in addition to an amazing selection of beds they also sell top of the line mattress from great brands including Serta and Sealy. They even have an ample selection of chic bedding.
gen-lighting.jpg
  1. I was tickled pink at the sheer selection of lighting at Bestbuy.ca—there really is something for every design style. How gorgeous is this luxurious Gen-Lite Pendant lamp? It’s such a showstopper and perfect for a formal dining room or lounge area.

  1. While lighting is a great update to your home another quick update is swapping out your decorative cushions for something new. I like cushions with a touch of whimsy like this British Chair Decorative Cushion; this is right on trend.
nexara.jpg
  1. Another great living room update is bringing in a new coffee table. I LOVE the clean lines of the Nexera Traffic coffee table. This table would look amazing in a loft or condo space and will tie together seamlessly with other furniture styles.

  1. Last but not least, if you are looking for new living room furnishings I would suggest bringing home a touch of classic modern with the Twilight Series-2pc Contemporary Sectional Set, available in black or white. This set will wear so well and always look polished—yet is super comfortable, perfect for the family.

Hope you like my top ten picks as much as I do. I’ll be back soon with my next blog post so stay tuned. In the meantime, Best Buy’s Home Furniture Event is on until June 11th with over $1 Million in savings on furniture, mattresses and home décor items!

Happy Shopping!
