The support for higher end GPUs and better resolutions and FPS is my favourite feature. Its not much fun gaming at 480p or having ‘buffering’ issues.
As an aspiring YouTuber that travels a lot, the multitasking performance is my favourite feature of the new Intel H45. I play mostly hardware demanding games and having a desktop power on-the-go laptop, I can create more content wherever I go. Getting to record without frame-rate drop is a dream come true!
I played alot of games during the lockdown and I loved New world’s beta and ended up playing all night till sunrise. It’s been a long time since I felt having fun playing a game and it’s because new world was a community driven game. Chatting with everyone on the same faction as you and planning for the next move that benefits everyone while making your enemies cry hits that sweet MMO itch.
Less frequently and at night. Usually only connect with known friends, too busy to just chat.
We definitely played more games over this past year compared to previous years, having been at home for most of the time. I game more in the night after work. I do connect with other gamers online, we enjoy talking about strategy and how to win!
The lower power consumption will help make gaming better
More PCIe lanes, more I/O! Faster graphics, faster secondary memory moves, faster data transmission.
Better multitasking for content creation.

My favourite feature of the Intel H45 processor is the support for 20 PCIe gen 4 lanes which is going to enable the highest end GPUs. This is the next step to have a more comparable performance on a laptop to a pc.

My favourite feature of the new Intel H45 is 4k 120hz at such a small form factor. Although the 20 lanes makes for some great options.
Not necessarily a feature, but the new processor will pave the way for smaller, thinner laptops capable of playing “heavy” games and I am v. excited about that. Smaller form factor == better portability!
My favourite part of the new Intel H45 processor is 20 PCIe gen 4 lanes enabling highest end GPUs so I can game faster, stream faster and keep up with the best.
Lower power consumption is a big plus.

I am not sure if I played more… 15 years ago I was a constant gamer but after having kids my time is more limited! I would say I probably spent a little more time in the past year on gaming than before.

8 core CPUs!? higher clock speeds!? Low power consumption!? Using Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology!? I’m not very tech savvy but reading up on H45 caught my interest. I’m a gamer fanatic but I’m stuck with mobile games since I dont have a gaming pc/laptop! Sad but true. In all honesty speed wins. Fast processing and 8 core cpus, no idea what that is hahaha but it sounds like a beast when it comes to running the hardcore 3D graphic games these days

Been gaming on a DELL inspiron 5000 intel 9750H with a Geforce GTX1050 for the entire lockdowns and work from home. I played Doom eternal, COD , GTA V and CS:Go. I gamed more frequently than the years before. In fact, i got back into gaming after several years and went straight for a gaming laptop.
Playing during my work break in the afternoon !! .. and straight after work in the evening.
Discussing hardware, processor and GPU enthusiast communities. I joined gaming communities online as well to view their gameplay and discuss some problems with my mouse and keyboard mechanics. Ended up buying a gaming keyboard too. Usually talked about new games and strategies in competitive FPS games.
My favourite feature of the H45 processor is the 10nm process. Faster speeds and less power in one package. It will improve my frame-rate significantly in games like Star Citizen that are CPU/Memory bottlenecked.

The new speed x lower power consumption is my favorite feature of the new Intel H45 processor. I usually play on laptops and having that extra processor power, while having a last longer battery will make all the difference.
So exciting to see 11th gen. I’m excited about the new H45 chipset and higher boost frequencies to keep gameplay smooth. The 10nm implies it will be running a lot cooler and will have more headroom for frames!!!

3) Yes. I have friends all over the world, and playing games becomes a way to socialize and keep in touch with them. The pandemic increased that contact and the necessity for a connection online.
1) I have seen how the new Intel 11th Gen Core H45 Tiger Lake-H CPU perform on my friend new laptop and I want that
kind of performance to push the frame rates . It would also help me run more experiments for my a data analytics
class, since AI experiments need more performance from the CPU.

it was kind of inevitable with all the lockdowns, all I do is Game and Zoom classes.

Three things about my recent gaming experience…
1. I definitely played more this year than previous years, mostly because of the pandemic
2. Night – I found myself staying up later because I don’t have to worry about commute time the next day
3. Not often but I have a few online gamer friends – we enjoy talking about the dramas in the gaming industry lol
I’d say my favourite feature of the new Intel H45 processor high processing speed and lower power consumption. It’ll make gaming better for me knowing that I’m not sucking up ridiculous amounts of electricity to power this butt-kicking machine.

I’ve never owned a “gaming” laptop, I have a hella custom looped desktop with all the bells and whistles, I play a lot of solo games and still play WoW after 15 years, I’m and evening and weekend gamer as I’ve gotta work 🙂
I like that it is speedy but with lower power consumption. Nothing worse than running out of battery power at the wrong moment!
